What good is a "do not call number" if no one does anything about it. I get at least two or three nuisance calls every day!

This is about the third time they called me, never leave a message and blocked return call.  Stop calling me if you don't want me to call you back.

They do no good because your government does not enforce the regulations. Kind of like immigration law on the border with Mexico.

NEVER press any number, this only verifies that your number is a working number and a human was on the other end.  They will sell this information to other marketers/scammers.

Oh, it really isn't a problem at all, I just press one button on my call blocker and that number will be blocked.  I can press that one button faster than they can call me.....  :>

And the persistent little twerps are back attempting to reach me via cell phone. Not gonna happen.

I am so sick of these pestering calls

I'm so mad  cardholder sevices telemarketer  calls several times a day and after 11 pm , disrupts my sleep.

Didn't answer - let the machine take it.  Must have been one of those 6th sense occasions.  Thank You 800 notes for the work you do!

Like everyone else, I'm tired of these endless calls from all over the US and Canada. I agree that it's time both the Canadian and US governments step in and do something. This is mega harassment and even though I just hang up, I don't want them calling my number. I don't even have a credit card so why call me? Maybe we should all get together and give them a pile of bogus numbers so they can run ragged all over the place. I've had at least a dozen different scammer numbers call me and they will NEVER get ANY financial information from me. Whatever you do, DO NOT give anyone using these bogus services ANY information or you'll regret it.

Getting these calls every day multiple times throughout the day starting from 8am to as late as 10pm. Claiming that they can lower my interest rates on my current credit cards. Funny thing is, I don't have any credit cards. I connected to speak with a person and informed them of this and they argued that I had 3 cc's. Ha. I told them that if I receive a call to my home once again from their company that I will be pressing harassment charges on them/company. They laughed, said "Try doing that" and hung up. Now I am getting the calls twice as much. Ugg. I even tried to get their number blocked through my phone company , but they call from different numbers. I just called the number back and got an automated system. It gave me the option to have my number put on their do not call list by pressing option "2", did that and it informed me that it will take up to 48 hours to remove my number from their lists. Hope it works. If not I am changing my number AGAIN.

Same voice just different spoofed phone number. I usually ignore them but lately I answer and press 1. As soon as I hear his voice I blow a very loud whistle in his ears...I'm hoping he has on a headset. Last time I was not contacted anymore from their old number...now I do it again. These [***] have bad memories. I wish I had a fog horn...it would damage their ears.

I would love to help you find these [***] and deal with them the old fashion way.....

Dear....you just gave them more information...they are criminals....I suggest you buy a fog horn or an air horn. When they call again answer...press 1...then blast their ears with the horn. Fight fire with fire!

Just got a call from this number...# has a different ring when it is coming from outside the country....never ever answer...

Another card scammer

I continually get these 'last calls' from cardholder services all the time.  Sometimes I answer the call and sometimes I don't.  I can't see caller ID very well or not at all.  It appears that I can only block 30 calls with Time Warner Cable phone service.  I need to be able to block at least 200 phone numbers.  So much for TWC phone service!
