Caller ID shows up as Aberdeen, WA - another scam hard at work!

Firefighters.  Probably a scam but weird for a call from  Aberdeen would be solicting in North King county Washington.  April 7, 2016  5:10PM

Rick, if you read the previous post you'll note that the call is a charity solicitation.  While I, personally, do not donate via such means it is, according the the FTC, a legal method for soliciting funds.  It is highly unlikely that those "people" would come to this site, read your message and know who "Rick" is and what his number is.  Sounds a little silly when you think about it, doesn't it?

Got call from this number.  I don't know the number, but I live in King County.  They don't leave messages.

Receive calls from this number.  Caller ID says Aberdeen, Wa.  I don't know anyone who lives in Aberdeen.  They never leave a message and I don't answer when I don't recognize the number.  I am sure a solicitor or scam.

Got 4 calls from "John" from the American association of firefighters in the last week. I live in King County.
Caller ID says this guy is callng from Aberdeen out on the coast. I answered all 4 times. Told him to quit harassing me.
He kept doing it. Needs his ass kicked.

Got call from this number.  I don't know the number, but I live in King County.  They didn't leave a message.

This is a message board for discussing phone calls, mostly from pests, scammers, and spammers.  Your calls are not coming from anyone here.  Your pest is not associated with this site.

Call from "John" from the American association of firefighters soliciting for donations to help burn victims. Listened to the initial pitch and then said I couldn't help and to please remove me from any more calls, then hung up. The Association of Firefighters and Paramedics, now that's the bottom of the evolutionary ladder when dealing with charities and fundraisers. The sad thing is they call me and ask for me by my first name. I know I shouldn't respond, but sometimes it just gets very frustrating!

Firefighter scam.  Block these hosers.  Guys have never fought a fire or went to bed sober.
