I just listened to this message left on my voicemail (this is the emailed version of the call so the translation into text is sometimes erratic):
Voicemail from (360) 209-8103
"Will get expired in the next 24 working hours and once it get expired. You will be taken under custody by the local cops as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this movement. I would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you. The number to reach me is 360-209-8103 or at 360-209-8103. Thank you and have a great day."

Doesn't say WHO it's for than proceeds with a threat.  Doesn't even say what the allegations are.  Not that I have anything to worry about but it's clearly a scam.  I'd like to know who they say they are and what the "allegations" are.

Claims to be from the IRS and that tax payments have been miscalculated and that a warrant is being issued for your arrest.

Once getting on the call you are required to follow steps without getting off of the phone and communicating with anyone.

i just received the same call this morning. I did not answer, but they left a message.

Received same call, left a Vmail message exactly as stated above.

Automated message as listed above.  Blocked!

Got a call from this number, didn't answer, they left a msg. The msg is hard to understand, but basically asserts that there are 4 serious charges against me, etc. same as others have stated. I am blocking this numer

Just got the same message about serious allegations.  Blocked number.

Just got the exact same call / voice mail message.  Much to my surprise when I called the number back, a gentleman with a middle eastern accent answered immediately & verified that I was in fact in serious trouble. He had my home phone # & address but strangely couldn't tell me the last four digits of my SS #.

Same as all above. Just listened to msg and chuckled.

I got the call.  I will call them and pay them large sums of money to get myself out of trouble.

got same call as all above...claimed to be IRS, and I would be arrested....I'm still here waiting for them HA!

If this were anything official I doubt they would refer to the local authorities as "the local cops".

Ditto Kurt and Colleen.  I seem to be the smart individual in my parents household.  They literally didn't know what to do, so I said I'd check it out.  Via www.intelius.com the phone is a landline and is based in Aberdeen, Washington.  If it WERE from the IRS, it would be based in Washington, D.C.

Same exact message.  Called back and "Officers Alan" and "Nancy" answered claiming to be from IRS.  Told them exactly how I felt about their scam calls and reported on IRS web site.
