    It's a scam. The IRS doesn't call, they send mail. And they don't threaten to have "the cops" come to arrest you. That right there is a big clue this is a scam. "The cops" is not in the least bit professional and the IRS wouldn't use the phrase. Block and ignore such calls.

    They left a message stating that several charges were pending and if I didn't call back I'd be arrested.  Lol, pitiful attempt at a scam.
