There are so many scammers in some dating sites. Please dont be easily carried away...These guys are going to hit your weaknesses telling you that they love you and want to marry you.... Who would do such thing in haste? Thats one thing that you have to analyze.

Dont attend to all these. I myself was a victim of this scam but it never went to a point where i sent money.

So be careful all the time.

I met this guy on facebook by the name Robert marthins and he lives in London and works as a civil engineer. He suddenly sent me a package with all the good things with a sum of 20thousand pounds. The package was held in another country where I wass forced to pay 2000$ to clear it and after that they needed more money for insurance then I proved it was a scam.  He uses the following numbers 00447874673012 and 00448719156172! His written English is terrible.

Please; this is urgent.  I have written for someone who can verify in Facebook, if this man looks like someone who goes by the name of Robert Cole from Higher Bebington, Wirral, United Kingdom.  He is a Contractor Engjneer, widower with two children a boy and a gjrl and two dogs. He wrote lovely messages in FB; It was so real, that I fell for it.  At this moment, I look at tbe pictures he sent me, tbat I cannot believe he was lying.  We communicated by messages in FB for two months, but I never accepted him as a friend. In November, he told me he wasgoing to Malaysia for a Contract, and that he will be coming to my country, when he finish his jjob.  He sent me text messages frkm this number, and I was so flattered with all his "poetic messages" that I did not notice tbey came from the US and not from UK.  He sent me text messages, while in Malaysia frkm this number: 60163856132.  He told me, he was attacked and robbed, and that he was in a hospital, without mkney and credit cards.  He told me that the doctor asked hkm for a deposit, in order to treat his injuries.  He told me he was desperate, and that he needed mkney.  I told him that I could not help him, because I used my mkney to.pay previkus medical bills.  He never called me back.  I talked tk hjm just knce, and it was real hard to u derstand him, because of his accent; it wasn't English.  I am very sad, because I trusted him.  I told him I was oldsd than he; his words were: "age is just a number"...I hope one day, GOD sill gjve hjm shat he dsserves fkr fooling good human beings...Thank you.T6Y7

This same guy wrote to me on the 1st of September. He befriended me and 2months later he sent me a package that was withheld in Thailand and needed US$2000 to be cleared and he disappeared with my money!he is dangerous stay away from him! He will not do anything with those details!

The same items that were sent to were also sent to me but this time by Robert Marthins from the UK and were held in Thailand awaiting clearance by me. Crazy world!

I have read these post and have been through the same thing with someone by the name of Basil.  He says he's from London.  He says he's a successfull businessman and wants someone to love him for who he is and not what he is.  He says he has a 15 year old daughter and divorced for 5 years.  Within a few days of chatting with him he said he loved me an wants me to be his wife.  Right....  He told me he was going to a two week convention in Toronto/Ontario Canada for two weeks then he's gonna come spend a month with me.  Well he sent me info that he had mailed gifts and his luggage for coming down here with me and to keep tracking its move.   Well it moved through a couple of places then bam stopped in Malaysia because they detected currency hidden in a teddy bear (this is a very common scam).  This message, which was a text, supposedly came from him begging me to pay the $1200 they wanted for fees otherwise they would confiscate the package and send it to court.  The courier company wanted me to send the money by moneygram to a particular person.  BEWARE that no government, courier, bank, etc will ever request money to be sent this way.  I feel cheated because he seemed like such a good guy.

Hi I have faced with the same situation, but the message I got was basically the same.  The man I had met on Facebook called himself Basi and he says he buys and sells cars to UK/US/ASIA.  The courier company used in this one was Excel Links Courier Services,  The package was sent out and stopped in Malaysia for same reasons of detecting currency in it.  He has been begging me to send them the $1200 they are asking for which they wanted me to send it by moneygram to a person.   BEWARE that NO government, courier, bank, etc will ever ask you to send them money this way.  This is a very well know scam.  You can find out much scam information on 419 Advance Fee scams.  Very helpful information.  You see I was scammed about 6 months ago and have done a massive amount of research.    BE CAREFUL AND GOOD LUCK

Hey Molly, how do you trace IP addresses to find out exactly where they come from.  I have tried but the headers are so jumbled with numbers everywhere.  I have been getting phone calls from a man in UK who claims to be a very successful businessman with a degree from Oxford.  He claims he buys and sells cars to UK/US/ASIA.  He's got many pictures on his facebook page at a car dealer but he has no friends only subscribers.

Warning to guys on here, This guy is using Eastern European woman to scam guys and they are soo good. I got taken by them. This guy must be stopped. He is relentless and they mastered scamming people and they do not let it go. I do not know what the FBI or Interpol is doing not stopping this criminal?
Please everyone be aware and spread the news. He is using young eastern European woman to entice guys and these woman are good at what they are doing. But if these woman are not good enough you get a message from this guy that is so believable you cant hep but respond (big mistake). He attaches to you like a leach.

I purchased a airline ticket for this supposedly nice woman to come to us right afterwards she started demanding money because they would not let her get on the plain with out money. I realized and cancelled the flight and got my refund but night mare did not stop there.


Numbers they used are 359 293 75100 Bulgaria, 360 234 2394  and 317 221 12018 non working number in Holland (it is a payphone I think),

I have been receiving some private messages through Facebook from a man who calls himself Shawn Nicholas, who says that he lives in Milton Keynes, UK. He claims to be an engineer for a company called Westward Freght Shipping, and that he has been saiingt Austrailia for the ast week. He sent me his supposed direct number 447526052424. I have not gave him my personal email address or accepted is friendship n Facebook, I did however give him my cel number. Last night he texted my cell and the number that showed up with is text is (360) 234-2394. Is this guy a scammer of women. I do have a Facebook pic that he claims is him if anyone else would lke t see it I can meal it to you.
