Monica, I think we may be dealing with the same person.  Can you give any more details,  his name maybe? Or a way to talk with you?

I've also chatted with him on wechat and he's called me using that app as well. He's never asked for money and made it seem as if he was financially stable. Are the photos you have of a younger guy with a dog by chance, what's his username on wechat?

Ladies: Please allow me to tell you how this scam works. Never asked for money? Didn't sound like he needed it? Of course not, as in, not yet. Your new beau is setting his pigeons up for the plucking. Some confidence men do not work quickly. They line a few marks up & then go in for: (a) Traveling to see you, need money. (b) Robbed at the hotel, need money. (c) Son/Daughter/Dog is sick, need money. Don't believe me? OK, no problem, just remember: If you are EVER asked for money/gifts - scam. You also might want to run a virus scan on your computer to see what your chat app may have done. Chat windows can allow someone to poke around your computer. . . what's in your wallet?

His WebChat id is natpfis223. Yes a picture of (him) with a dog. I have at least 6 pictures of this guy. He started texting me with a different number, same number he called me on. Then because he was going to be gone for a month with "work" he wouldn't be able to chat much but when he could with that wechat because he would be over seas. He randomly sends me text from the wechat saying hi and asking how things are going. He said he will be home in a week so we can talk more. During the call which lasted about 45min he spoke of his family and why he moved from Britian 8 years ago. Even if he asked me for money or hinted around to it Im not STUPID! I havent decided if I am going to call him out about it or play along. I have not used my computer, all communication has been on my phone.

Yep! Same guy! He's not who he says he is. I would cut off communication with him. He told me the same story, has an accent and sounds like a younger guy.

Yes Nathan Pfister  is a scammer. And the name is fake.  The photos of the hot guy with a dog,  mustache standing next to another guy?  Those were all stolen from someone else's old MySpace account.  He is very charming.  We spoke through text and even on the phone daily. Until he had engine trouble between Italy and Singapore and needed me to send an email to his bank.  Then I knew he was fake.  Did some digging and here I am. ...

This man contacted me through eHarmony. Said his name was David Berkhoff, a civil engineer, a widower with a 23 year old son,  and had a website set up DavidBerkhoffConstruction.com.  Said he lived on N Burling St, Chicago. After a few days said he was going to Istanbul for a contract, and launched into a one week elaborate scam about being in Istanbul, even called from a turkish phone number: +90-533-843-6529. Very convincing!. I looked up his website, it was set up July 14th, and he contacted me on Aug18th.  What a con! wow! In the end, he asked if I would lend him the remaining capital he needed to start his contract, $70,000! LOL! Really?  Reverse Address Directory also didn't reveal a David Berkhoff living at that address.  He also uses the phone numbers: 360-234-2394 and 872-213-5283.  thank GOD for this website, wish I would have found it sooner!
