I'd said out of area and they didn't leave a message. Scam

Got a call too. Picked up but didn't say anything. They hung up

Called at 7:27 PM  I answered, they hung up.  They called again 1 minute later, I answered, they hung up.  Must be some scam, I will add it to the call blocker.

I don't even answer my phone anymore, and my answering machine is turned off. I just look at the caller ID. If it's someone I know, I call them back. If not, I block them and report the call to the FTC. So far this year I have had 275 calls. It never ends...

I assume it's a scammer also, didn't answer and added to my blocked list.
So far today it's the 5th NEW scam number I've received. I'm now blocking all calls from 110 area codes (only ever got scam calls from those area codes, never a legit call) and have another 120 individual numbers blocked (these are just the ones using local area codes).
Given the number of scam calls to legit calls on my home phone I'm thinking it might actually be easier to buy one of the blockers that block ALL calls except for the number you enter. Most people I know also have my cell number and could call me that way.

Called while I was out and left no message. Someone on another site said it's a recorded survey about the presidential election.

No message. Now blocked. If it is a political survey, be very wary. They usually have an agenda behind them and if your answers don't agree with that agenda, you may receive numerous harassing phone calls demanding you to change your views.

Caller ID says unknown. They left no message. They called other times. This time they called at 6:24p.m. PDT
