Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Got the call yesterday and called back and got an Indian guy (accent) who said he was with IRS Audit dept. They dont use phones, they use mail, so as above, it is a scam and a new phone #. I am blocking it. The guy was aggressive in his bluff so be careful. Use a different method of calling IRS to request info if you are bluffed into believing it might be tru and do not give any info to him of any kind. Nothing. He will start to threaten serious legal problems so beware. The IRS does not do that, especially over the phone.
