I received a recorded message allegedly by the IRS that I am being sued by the IRS! What! I pay my income and property taxes every year! The recorded message said I should call (360) 244-4305, which I would not do. If the IRS is suing me, one would think they would do so in writing!

My wife received a voice mail on her cell phone to call the IRS @ 360-244-4305. This has to be a scam, this is the 1st time we have heard from the IRS and they plan on suing us.

Deadbeat scammers get a real job!

I’m an Enrolled Agent with the IRS (Inactive). IRS does not initiate contacts by phone.  US mail only.   IRS does not file lawsuits.   Court action, if any is handled by the DOJ and all parties are entitled to legal assistance if it is a criminal matter.  But--tax disputes are for the most part civil matters.  90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively.  IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes. IRS has no powers of arrest.    If LE is necessary, US Marshals do the job.  IRS does not cold call anyone and ask for money. IRS does not accept Green card money paks for payment in any case.  No one is prosecuted for ordinary tax disputes. IRS has absolutely no authority over anyone's professional license. Professional licensing is handled by state governments.  Yes, levies on property to satisfy an existing tax obligation do occur, but only after a very long period of negotiation. And yes, liens are placed on individuals but  usually after a lot of negotiation and a failure to reach a settlement.    All determinations of tax liability are subject to appeals.  All  contacts by the IRS are initiated by US mail.

Just received this call but my phone did not ring it was on my voice mail

We just received a call about the I.R.S. suing us this past Friday( actually they left a message.) Fortunately, I had just heard about this on the news so I knew better. This is the 3rd scam call we've received from someone or another, this week. what a shame!!!!!! Thank God for Google....

Just got voicemail from 3602444305 saying I was being sued (I couldn't even make out by whom)...Obviously a scam as cedrtified mail is how suits are delivered. Watch out folks.

It seems like the same crank IRS call everyone received from this number.
