Caller with thick Indian accent announced that he was calling from the "US Government" and had $7800 in grant money for me. Yeah, right. I hung up and put the number in my auto-reject list.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone. When i answered and said "hello" the phone started to ring. Someone picked it up but said nothing. I said hello again, no response, so I hung up.

I got the same call. I recently graduated from college so figured this might be true. They wanted a 250 deposit through a money gram. I thought it was fishy but did it anyways. They call me up today asking me to send them 850 for insurance reasons!  I called the police and im making a report

My first call came from a phone number that just popped up #26 and they left a message saying I was selected to recieve $7,800 dollars I just had to call 360-358-2824 and give them a certain code, she spoke way to fast to get the code, the whole voicemail was only 16 seconds long... But I recieved another call shortly after from the #41 and the man said the same thing, except now it was $7,500 and I just had to call 206-395-3541 and give them the code ZM992 to recieve my money.... he asked me my name and age and what I intended to use the money for, I never called the two number to use the codes because I wanted to check them out first due to being involved in scams before.

Never ever pay for something that is suppose to be free......and if you ever think a number you get a call from is fishy you can type it into google, as i'm assuming you did to get here and it will bring up scams or not.   https://www.donotcall.gov/    <---- that is a site to enter your phone number into the do not call list for telemarketing.
