- SpaciousSpaceSame here. I've gotten it a few times in the middle of class. I haven't ever answered it, but when I try to call it back, it doesn't even ring, or connect, for that matter.
- Call type: Survey
- Chupacabra1933I never won anything or entered to win anything anywhere before or ever. I only just got this #, and only work or jobs I have applied for have this number even connected to me. I just started getting these calls to my cell. I answer and get no response other than background call center sounds of chatting, then hang-ups. I quit answering but they keep trying every other day around 5-6pm-ish. A few times I return cal but get Verizon Error Message that the number I am dialing has been changed or disconnected, blah blah, blah.
- Caller: Verizon
- netteI received a call n it was a mixed up recording offering a cruise.
- CarolynI feel that it is Bank of America. They called my home at least four times today and one of those times they left a message. This number was left on my cell phone. They were told to never call my cell phone number again and they do not care. In the past the one time that I answered the cell phone and realized that it was Bank of America they were told to stop calling my cell phone. They lied and tried to tell me that I gave them my cell phone number and I never did. There are other strange 503 telephone numbers to my cell phone also. I was not answering the strange calls because I do not pay the bill and they also play their games that they do not have information when they have all along. As my daughter asked them for an itemized statement they did not want to send her one making up excuses as to why they would not. She now sees charges that she does not feel legitimate.
- Caller: Bank of America
- JMACSame as above called me 6/6/12, I dialed back "not a working number" was the recorded message
- How did they get my number?I don't understand where these people are receiving contact information from. I answered from this # one day just out of curiosity and the message began with the horn of a cruise ship and a person saying "This is your captain calling...WTH? If you try to call back it never rings just instantly disconnects. Someone needs to stop whoever this is!
- How did they get my number?ok if you call from a landline you get the message from verizon wireless saying" this number has been changed or disconnected" so possible prank call from whomever which cannot be traced apparently
- SarahyI got 5 calls thsi morning.. Not a single word, did not leave a message.
- Paul-Trenton NJAlso received call from 360-460-1404 and no response the other end. Called and didn't even get a ring. Maybe it's a system meant to screw up phones when answered. Everything is so digitally charged that cell phones can be cloned and hacked into.
- Penbobthis needs to stop someone needs to do something
- jENNIFERThis same number keeps calling me. I called it back thinking it was a client when I put #1 first it says it's a disconnected #. If I dial without the #1 first it rings and they hang up on me. The number is 1.360.460.1404. They just called 10:36 AM. It says it's a Verizon Wireless phone. Weird I had a feeling put in the number and see all of the comments posted already.
- Caller: I CALLED BACK AND THEY WOULD HANG UP ON ME
- AlyThey just called me and left no message...im in PA and dont know no one in Washington
- Caller: 360-460-1404

- JoyJust received a call on my cell phone from this number about 10:30a EDT... Hung up as soon as I answered. They start harassment calls early on the west coast...

- farm-galThey are at it again. nasty loud horn starts the call. I use an earpiece this call completely < HACKS ME OFF > I have received several calls over several weeks from these jerks. No way that I can see to get off thier list because you have to wade through their long and intrusive questionaire. Really annoying.

- Call type: Telemarketer
- Annoyed_ n_More replies to temp_worker| 1 replySame thing here. No message. My number is unlisted everywhere and for two years I never got crank calls, but recently I have been getting calls (that I do not answer) and the caller ID indicates +91613 and then also calls from this number. I think they are both the same. I answered one weird call about a month ago and no one was there - not sure if this was the number or not - but I think they have an auto-dialer and if you ever answer, they know it is a real number, so they send it to their sales people. And then several of those sales people call (usually from overseas) and using a caller ID fake tool, make it look like a valid US number. Then they try to sell you prescription drugs without a prescription. I do not know for sure, but I would bet that is what is happening here. Block the number or set it up to no really ring on your phone. No matter what it is, I am fairly certain that it is a scam or so many people would not have posted it here.
- Annoyed_ n_More replies to katie| 1 replyYou can't stop them from calling. On some phones and some carriers you can block the number, but then after a month or so, they just change a digit or two and call again, so it can be a discouraging battle. I can't block on my phone, but I can set it to ring with a specific tone so that I know it is a phony number and don't bother to even pick up the phone. I really believe it is overseas calls from people trying to collect data on you to sell to scammers, or trying to sell you illegal prescription drugs. The cruise ploy would be just to get personal data. I am fairly certain that they are faking the caller ID and that the number that displays is not the number they are calling from, and that is why you cannot respond. Or they are somehow using a link to call through a domestic number. That is a bit more unlikely because it would subject them to US laws, but not impossible. It is very easy to fake your number so that the wrong number shows up in caller ID. It may be too late for you and me, but if anybody else reads this, the best way to deal with it is DON'T EVER ANSWER or they know for sure you are a valid working number and they will just keep on calling forever.
- Annoyed_ n_More replies to sum dudeIt is a scam, Sam. Once they know they have reached a valid phone number, they will circulate your number to their 'business associates' and you are likely to get a lot more calls. And if you give them personal information, that will be sold too, and the next time they call they will know a little bit more about you and can use that to convince you that their call is legit. Hope you did not give them anything to work with.
