Got a call 20 minutes ago. Same thing...just hung up.

12:47pm eastern. received one.

for years i ignored spam that kept turning up in my inbox until recently i was stupid enough to fall for the offer of a prepaid walmart card. i filled out their survey thingie and gave them my cell number. its them(and whoever else they've sold my info to)and i know it. can't help wondering if the rest of you have made a similar mistake. i never answer an unfamiliar call and i won't activate my voicemail. people who know me should know well enough to text if it's important. in short i have little idea who they are but i blacklist them as quick as i can. hope this helps ~jon

I got a call from this number at work and I answered..It stating that I won something it was very strange. They asked for my name and a zip code then the phone hang up.. If anyone gets a call from this number DO NOT GIVE YOUR INFORMATION!!! Its fraud.

Have you made sure your name is on the "no-call" list? There are local and national registries for this type of telemarketing. If you continue to receive calls from these annoying jerks, you can report them to your state attorney general's office.

No message was left, just an indication that I received a call from this number

This number called left no message has done it before to.how they get your cell number please stop calling!!

Called my cell phone which is on the do no call registry.  
Don't know why I answered showed from WA - started to hear that Ship Horn sound and new it was that telemarketing thing about cruises.  Just hung up

How do you block a number?

Call all the time. I'm tired of it

Worse than most of what is reported here, I've taken a few calls from 360 460 5570 in recent weeks on my UNLISTED private cell number ( a TracFone actually ). When I answer, all I get is a loud sound that resembles a synthesizer sample of a ship's foghorn, or a Vuvuzela.   I immediately break the call, so I have no idea what's the nature of the call , except tha it is unique to this number and unique in the herd of scam calls I recieve on my cell and landline both..

Called my work cell phone number. I have been having issues with telemarketing calls from Washington state regarding cruises I've "won".  FCC regulations require written consent from a consumer before a company can robo-call to their cell phone, so this is totally illegal.

Random Number. No answer, No message.
Called it back, loud noise similar to that of a fax machine.

Loud horn sound then a voice coming over saying, "This is your captain speaking".  I always hang up before it gets too much into it but I've been getting this at random times for well over a couple of months now.

Just called me at 10:43AM at work. No voicemail left

This number keeps calling my cell phone repeatedly, and no message ever!!!
