Got a call from this number as well, pretty sure it's a scam

I got a call on my cell from this number yesterday.  The caller, in an accent that sounded either Middle Eastern or Indian, anxiously wanted to remove a virus from my computer.  I have several computers at home and none of them had as yet been online since I got this call on my way home on the bus.  I tried to pin this guy down as to which computer he was talking about but he couldn't get off his ecited ramble about removing a virus.  Finally, I got through that I was traveling and wasn't home yet, and he proceeded to say he would call back Monday (not later that day or Saturday, to remove said virus.  I told him to stay the hell out of my computer and hung up.  Obviously a phishing scam.

I got a call from this number 2 days ago offering a Bahama cruise for answering 10 questions.

I've been receiving calls from this number since Friday, 2 call on Friday and 2 call today. when i called the number back it doesn't do anything and they do not leave a voicemail. This is a brand new cell so I'm a little confused on how they have obtained this number.

I just got a call from this number today. It is odd because I never gave my cell number out to anyone except my family (and a few friends). What is even weirder is when I call them back they will not pick up. I really want to sing some of my favorite Frank Zappa songs  to them, but they will not pick up.

i have a pre paid phone, and it has NO min on it, but yet there call came threw??// how does that happen i missed the call but this is weird

they call my home phone.  I doubt it's your mobile phone company.   they would be out of buisness and on so many law suits...

Recent addition is this number 458-201-0392. It appears to be originated from Fremont/CA but through call routing techniques it shows as 458 area code. With the help of independent law firm, we were able to close few numbers and reported to FBI. Soon some of these will be brought to light. Anyone upon getting such calls, immediately make a note of the number and add to this site, also e-mail to me jason.gere@cnet.com.
