Get calls from 360-464-9953 that I do not pick up and no message is left.  Has happened daily for the past three days.  I am in California and would have no connection to the Minneapolis newpaper, but I recently cancelled a subscription to the San Jose Mercury News, so they may use the same call center to bug people.

I have been getting calls from this number for multiple days and at multiple times during the day. However, I live in VA and have NEVER subscribed to the Star Tribune like it seems as if the other people that have posted.

360-464-9953 calls everyday.   Wish we could get them to stop unwanted calls.

Just like William, I'm getting calls from this number, and I'm with Mercury News.

I have also been getting this call for a week now. I just started subscribing to the Star Trib a couple weeks ago and I'm paid up to 23 weeks from now. Thanks everyone for your comments in solving this issue.

These phone calls started about a week ago - 'this is a verification' or some such.  Called back - entered my phone number when prompted to be removed from the call list.  Calls are still coming, and now the same message from :651-756-3229.  I'm a bit relieved it's not just me - but I want to smack someone.

Oh gosh, I just signed up for the Star Trib's special Sunday only for $1 deal. A few days after my first paper arrived I started getting calls from this number. I love the Star Trib but this is crap.

They said they were from the Roanoke Times, wanted my credit card no. to pay my bill. Asked them how do I know you are from the Roanoke Times? They hung up!! It's a scam!!

I'm in Central PA and have a local paper...how did these ppl get my number from that paper??? Sounds like they sold my information or got hacked.  Seems like I need to just get my news on the web but we like coupons!

Well Sunday night 6:00 p.m. they called. Now today Monday 10:30 again. I do not answer ever. And they will be calling at least two to three times more today and every day I get a call. We do get the Mpls Star Tribune, it is fully paid so why in the #@$$ do they have a need to keep bugging me.

This number has been calling and calling me, I finally answered it the other day and it was Minneapolis StarTrib, which I have been trying to call in and cancel for the last couple weeks, (everytime they helping other customers, ect and I was to hold).  Told them I wanted to cancel ect.

Now today I had the same number call again so I called back and a robot answered and the first thing it said was "to be removed from our call list, enter your phone number". Said it would take 2 business days to go into effect.

So we will see if I get the newspaper again and if they call back again!

I have requested this number be blocked several times - how does it continue to slip thru

I just got a call saying "This is a verification from Verifast."  I am in the Minneapolis area and get the Star Tribune, so this could continue to point to them.  Arrrrghhh!

I got this call and they never leave a msg so that tells me it's no important. I don't have a subscription, though so it's funny!

Getting the call consistently for the last month.  I remember seeing something like this 6-12 months ago. Now it's back. Yes, I'm a Star Tribune subscriber, or I should say was...I just cancelled this weekend.

I received 3 calls today. Wonder if it is telemarketing for more of their stinkin' services. You think?

i keep getting calls from this number as well, no message. my subscription is nearing the end, assuming that's why they are calling. very annoying!!!!

"This is a service verification call, we will try calling again later."

a young girl and a barking dog in background, she is yelling "get out here" she had called 3 times so  far,, i am in washington state
