It's a landline from marysville, washington.  called my cell... how do they get these cell phone numbers anyway? and dude... if you're gonna scam wouldn't it be better to use a cell instead of a landline lol. these people are total noobs. i'm glad i didn't answer. no voicemail either.

OMG!!!!! definitely cancel the cc RIGHT NOW. WHY would you give out your credit card number to anyone!!! especially to companies you know nothing about omg. they're probably already using it.

Just got the call a few seconds ago too.  Didn't answer it.  Thanks for the posts...... Also got a 402-982-0550 call earlier in the day.  Didn't answer it either.  Appears to be a similar scam???

Funny I searched out this number left on my cell and it seems they have been doing this for a long time and nobody has been able to catch them? I missed the call and they never left a message. Just wondering how they got my cell number... who is selling our numbers off?

i got the same call. i saw the area code and decided not to answer it. then i googeled the area code and it said something bout washington and im like wtf?! i dnt know anybody from washington. and then i came upon this website and yup lol found the number. they didnt leave me a voicemail. they havent called me since then.

A lady called and read a script and hung up on me. I called back.  An answering machine got my call. Obvious scam since every time i had a connection with the "business" the line went dead.

I do not wish to be solicited.......

I just got a call from this number. Since I don't have a credit card, I grabbed a pencil to write down the number and the call disconnected just after the "to speak to a live representative, press 1". I went through my call directory, wrote down the number and called it. Once again, the call disconnected after giving only one option, "If you're not interested in our offer, press 1 to be placed on our Do Not Call list." No option to speak to anyone.

Got a call on my cell phone from this number.  How did they get my number?  Shouldn't there be rules that they are wasting my minutes when they call me (unlike a landline when they waste only time).

I received a phone call from this number at 4:55 PM EST on April 13, 2010. It was an automated message telling me to Press 1 to lower my credit card interest rate, and then it disconnected.

i decided one day to talk to the guy... when he answered he's like are you intrested in lowering your rates i'm like no actually i'm just wondering what card you are calling in regards to....he hung up on me..leaving me furious ...i'm tird of these telemarketer scams waking me up!

Got two calls from this number.  Automated system give a spiel about reducing credit card rate.  I pressed 1 to get a real person (Mikki or Nikki) and was going to ask her to remove the number from their call list.  She hung up before I could finish the sentence.  If anyone knows the company that calls like this, please post.
