This is a call purporting to be from the IRS saying that the IRS is going to sue me. Pro tip: The IRS *never* makes its first contact by telephone. This is well attested on the WhitePages.com site. Impersonating the IRS is a federal crime, so I hope somebody goes after these [***].

Got a recorded message on the answering machine that "the reason for this call is  to inform you that the IRS is suing you, and you need to call immediately for this case file" to the number as stated above.  I feel sorry for the people who might think this is real and actually call them back, and I wonder what the nature of that conversation would be - I assume it would be to get personal info (name, SSN, etc.) for identity theft or some other predatory purposes.

Lady voice just called me said it was I.R.S. from Washington that I am in big trouble and if I don't get into action right away I will have problems with the cops

Spam. The IRS is suing me. This needs to be blocked. I see reports from 2015, so this number's been used for a few years now.

Said they were the IRS and the cops would be at me house to arrest me.

I also received phone call with electronic female voice implicating me in a law suit. After reading comments today I will disregard this number.

Lady voice starts in the middle of recording saying ... there are 4 counts against you, you will be reported to the cops.  call this number.
