This number called me twice in less than 10 minutes. I answered the second time they called me and no one responded. I called the number back and a foreign sounding man said "Thank you for calling the Internal Revenue Service. How may I help you?" Needless-to-say, I did not say anything, ended the call, and blocked the number. The IRS does not call people... they send letters.

Robocall recording starts, "This is the IRS" .... that is when I hung up and blocked.

Call from  360-967-4406  Said I owed IRS money..  Stupid Fool on the phone didn't know I had filed bankruptcy and already had my hearing.  I told him to never call me again that it was illegal for him to call me and contact my attorney.  Gave him attorney info.. what an ass.  Attorney advised it was a scam...

YES  DEFINIATELY SPAMMERS.  I kept calling it from 2 different phone #'s and laughing at them.  They finally blocked those #'s.  Sort of fun to get them back.   IRS sends letters and they don't answer until they play their "IRS" message.  You will be asked to enter your SSN too.   Pretty lame/unsophisticated scammers at that.

Oh yeah    when did the IRS EVER answer after 2 rings?
