Call stating im eligible for a $10,000 grant. I have to purchase a green dot card and load it with $200 in order to receive the $10,000

I just received the same phone call, but have not called the 360 number because I'm thinking that it's some kind of scam.  Why would someone have to load money onto a card to receive money that's "supposedly" theirs?  They're going to take your $200 and you'll never hear from them again, nor get your "grant" money is what I'm thinking.  .

Just got one--can't believe ANYONE would believe that the US government just calls out of the blue to give you $10,000 for being a good citizen! I didn't call the 360 number because I thought that might be the scam itself and they would bill you for the call like a 900 number.

When I called the number and told them that I had Googled the number to the  government, they said that when they Googled my phone number it said that I was a rapist and hung up on me. LOL

stupid people.. they do not even speak English when I called.

I was just trying to sleep in and some dink named 'James' called me. $7500 Grant money for (inaudible). Call 360-967-4473 and give them ID #KR7071.

I'm going back to bed.

I called this number back and they told me I had to pay a state to state transfer fee of $250.00 and I would receive, by Western Union, a grant in the amount of $10,250.  They have not fooled me but someone is going to fall into this trap.  You cannot understand the telemarketer and it sounds like a thousand people in one box making the calls.  Not getting my money!

At 11:05 a.m. I recieved a call that was quite inaudible. When I asked who this was said his name was Mark and thay he was a varifications officer and that I qualified for a $10000.00 government grant for being a good citizen and paying my taxes on time. Then he mentioned something about a card of some sort. Very noisy background as if thousands of people in same room. He had a thick foriegn accent and had me take down some varification #. I attempted to call # given to me and it just rang continuously. Then I tried calling back the number he called me from and it said incorrect # or code. Definitely a scam. But who do we report this to? Thenumber came in as 253-205-0739 and the number I was told to call U.S. Treasurey at was 360-967-4473 and my ID # to give when I called was HR532. This is quite concerning to me.
