Got the same as everyone else. Some thick accented idiot saying the cops were on the way and to give them money. I really find it sad that people fall for this. Hopefully these people will be found and arrested.

"Sean Matthews" from the "IRS" called saying there is a lawsuit against my wife and if I didn't pay $3,800 right now, she would go to jail for 2 yrs and pay a $45,000 fine. I fell for it at first but when "Sean" wouldn't allow me to hang up or even call my wife on a 3 way call I got really suspicious. So I texted her and had HER call ME. Then I quickly 3 way'd her on and Sean tried to convince her. But luckily she already knew about this scam and basically ripped him a new AH! I LOVE MY WIFE! (Btw, I was NEVER gonna pay that prick any money!) But I must say he was pretty convincing. His middle eastern accent was really strong. DO NOT FALL PREY TO THESE SCAMMERS!! Be aware!

The call originated from 360-967-4545. I spoke to 2 other members of the "IRS" before this "Sean Mathews" took over. The other 2 "agents" accents were so bad I could only understand about every 5th word. "Sean" told me with penalties and fees my total lawsuit amount was $7,800 plus! But he said if I was "cooperative" and didn't argue with him anymore, that he might be able to "help me out" by getting his "supervisor" to waive the fees and penalties and I would only have to pay the $3,800 BUT, I needed to pay it RIGHT NOW or else his hands would be tied and my bank account would be seized w/in 90 mins from right now and a local policeman would come and arrest my wife and the full measure of the law would be subjected against her. He insisted the call was being recorded and would be used against me in court. If I hung up, I would have to pay the severe consequences!! Very powerful scare tactics! Eventually he tried to get $1,000 from me. When I told him I don't have it he called me a liar and said when my account is seized and it turns out that I have a grand or more in there, I would be prosicuted for purgery! He was very quick with his come backs! I could tell it wasn't this guys 1st rodeo! These jerks need to go to prison!! Or better yet....be executed! Would LOVE to be the one to flip the switch!!!

Got a voice mail of a recording saying the IRS was going to sue. Total bs and a scam! By the older post from last year, I see this has been going on for awhile.  Stay smart people! Don't give them any information ever.

It is a scam!
