    Based on the new and only post here, blocked. 200 unique numbers blocked locally so far, with 800 numbers filtered upstream nicely by my telco
    The CID just displays that gibberish number - which I suspect is some sort of flag the telco is using to describe a spoofed call. Never happens with even brand-new cellphones, we just got two and the numbers came up properly on both withing a couple days. Spoofing should be treated like a fake ID and prosecuted accordingly.

    I am so tired of these calls!!! You use the
    National block registry and they say once
    You register u don't have to again! Why r they coming thru???  Something has to be done!

    What "National block registry" would that be?  Are you referring to the Do Not Call Registry which is most certainly not a call blocker?
