Called to recorder and asked for someone related to me by first name, but not a user of the cell number that was called.  "Is <person> there?" was repeated with exactly the same intonation a second time, then "Hi this is... " and it cut off.     I suspect an AI call system trying to simulate conversation.

Someone called and said they work for police dept and local troopers..Asked do they have my support.I said yes..Then asked could they mail me a slip.I then remembered the scam where they try to get people to say yes..I said u can mail it..Then I realized they tried to ask another question insane format so I hung up..Scam and spam

Scam. I get this every few months. Asks if David or Barb is there and I say "no". then they say "maybe you can help me" and proceed to ask for money for fire dept fund of some sort.

They call every once in a while from different (probably spoofed) numbers and ask if "Miriam" is there. If I say they got a wrong number, they launch into a pitch for some fake charity or other, so now I just hang up and block the number they used.

Same as those above/. "Is _____ there."  I said no.  Caller said "I'll call back."  I said "Why?" Caller had hung up.  The call supposedly came from Castle Rock, Washington.  The caller's voice was male, strong and authoritative. We do not plan to answer this number.

Received a call from this number which appeared to be calling from Castle Rock, WA.  I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer and they left no message.  Reading the recent reports of activity associated with this number it would appear to be a telemarketer or scammer.

The caller had my full name asked, "Is this _______________________?" I said, "Yes" and then they asked if I worked for a Construction Company and I said "No." This is clearly a scam, but somehow they have my full name.
