They want banking information over the phone in order to give me a carbon rebate of $88.
No thanks!

Calls every day.  Annoying.  Wish we could stop this crap.

As previous reporter said - they wanted me to provide my bank account over the phone for a carbon rebate. I told them to e-transfer me the funds using my email address. They refused. I told them I'm not giving them my banking info for $88, and I have no way of verifying who they are. Rep on the other end got rude and defensive. Terrible.

Same thing, called about carbon rebate and wanted banking info over the phone. I Said mail it. They said they don’t mail cheques anymore. Got persistent and eventually hung up.

We have had at least 4 calls from this number but never answer. No voive mail is left. How to stop this and/or identilfy the source.

Keeps calling over and over at all times of day. We don't answer it. They don't know what an answering machine is either!

Keeps calling, at all times of the day, so annoying, and then they call, ID shows unknown name with the same #, then calls again as Ontario Coverage, this is a new Scam and will block #

Keeps calling every day around 5:30pm. Now that I know who they are, I will play with them a little and ask for their banking information.

Called many times. Doesn’t leave a voice mail. We don’t pick up if we don’t recognize the number or if they are not in our contact list.   Most likely a scam like other callers experienced.  Never ever give anyone your personal or finance information over the phone. Especially when they call you.  No bank, government entity, credit card company will call you and ask you to verify your own identity or financial info.

Calls multiple times a day and say nothing

Called not once..but 3 times ..no message left on my answer machine..so not important.
