Asked about a dude I haven't talked o in a year said legal trouble. Didn't know how to say what town he was from.

called also about someone that i haven't talked to for a few years.  scam????

Just called me did not answer. Don't know any one from their. SCAM

Received a call on my cell phone from (385) 202-2686, asked for a woman, when I said this was my cell I had had for 10 years they just hung up in my ear.

Caller claimed to be from a debt collection agency.  Called about a debt that wasn't mine.  I told him I'd never heard of the person he was calling for, but he was very rude and insisted that I was lying.  Then he kept demanding that I give him my personal information including bank account numbers.  Ended up having to hang up on him due to his "colorful" language when I refused to comply.

Caller asked me for a person that I never herd of.  I told him that I never herd of that perosn and he then said that he thought that I was him and he started threatening me with violence.  He started yelling and said that I was going to "Get It".  I called the number back from a different phone and it first took me to a voice mail for Keith Robberts.  I called again from the same phone and it took me to Halsted Finincal services in Illinois and the lady said that my number was in the system as Robbert Shelton but there is no record of anybody calling me and then she hung up on me.  I then called a third time from my cell that I was originally called on and it sounded like the person that called me and he identified his self as Denis Mitchels. He told me to not call him back again and he hung up on me.

They called and stated that this was a call for collection and if I did not respond within 24 hours other action to collect a debt. They did leave a company name or a person to talk to.

I get calls twice a day from this number saying the message is for someone who I haven't talked to for several years.  I just hang up, but it's irritating

So my friend was recieving phone calls for me from this number. So I called they misunderstood my name and the Guy, Robert Garcia, told me I had no business calling this number and hung up on me! This man was very rude! So I called back and got the same Guy finally he understood my name and told me I owed money. Finally got the name of the company. Its name is Halsted financial services!  UT they Gave my friend my social security number and bank account numbers!! I don't know how they got it! But they should not be giving out person information! If she didnt know me and was a random person they could have committed identity theft!! I am not happy!!

I just received a call from this number and the girl on the other end asked if they were speaking with me and on the third time I'm like yes this is she...for the THIRD time. She said she was sorry and had to make sure it was the right person she was speaking to. She told me I had a collection account with Chase and I told her that it wasn't mine and I wasn't going to pay it and she said that's fine because they're just going to send a form to my employer. I said go right ahead and hung up.

calls every night and is now calling my work, when i tell them my name they hang up. but its my name they keep asking for.

They call my cell everyday between Noon and 1 pm Eastern.  I don't answer.  This is getting to be really annoying.  They do not leave a message.

Says they are going to serve me court paper, at home or work. they leave a number to call back,,,fat chance!! These jerks will try anything !!

Trying to scam on a bill but will not let me know what the bill is for just hung up

These people who call with the number 385-252-2686 are most likely in Mormon country because the area code 385 is in Salt Lake City, county. Report them to the police and FBI for running a phone scam.

They have been calling me for over a year asking for Michael Graham. I tell them i dont know nor have i ever heard of that name. They continue to call so i have been really [***] with them. Today they called 3 times. I just dont answer but they keep calling. Its harrassment.

They call me about three times a week. I have never answered until I checked it out on this page today.  Since everyone here has mentioned that they were asking for someone else about a debt, I decided to call it back....Here was the conversation:
Op: This is (name)
Me: Yes I believe I owe you some money
Op: Ok sir, let me type in your number
Me: OK
Op: We are trying to reach Dorothy Daschum
Me: I don't know her
Op: Did you receive a message from us, is that how you knew about owing us money?
Me: No
Op: Ok, sorry sir, I will take this number off our list.
Me: Thank you

We'll see what happens I guess.

these people are a joke call every other day asking for a micheal grahman sadly it so many scam happen and with company than you deal with legal they give select information out to other company from a list and this type of crap happen and become annying or a big mistake if you give oiut the wrong infromation so be careful if you do not know hang even if they threaten you

I just got a call from this number last night. First time. It was not a person or even really a message. It was a recorded woman's voice repeating this mans first name and last name initial followed by a dot com slash this or that in verbal form. Wierd! I tried to call the number back and it rang and rang until finally I got a mailbox full automated voice...click!? At the same time I was on my computer which is connected with my "smart" not so smart phone. I was on the child support "secured website" and wowsa! All of a sudden there appeared accounts in there didn't even exist! Not for me anyways. My ex-husband owes me a lot of money in back child support and it was telling me that I owed his current estranged wife 13,000.00! It was all back to normal in about 10 minutes, but now I'm worried that my personal information is being leached out!

These people are the rudest, meanest people on the face of the earth.  I understand about owing money for a past debt, and I can only do so much.  My husband is laid off, and these people have NO HEART. Would not take any payment arrangements, the woman yelled at me.  Calmly I said, when you learn how to treat people and can work with them on payments if life is rough on them right now, then maybe someone might talk to you, and then I hung up.  Halstead COllection agengy you suck!!  OH and they lie and route calls through a local number.  [***]!
