I have now been called my this number twice.  Not gonna answer.  I am in California.........I have had the same cell number for 15 years, and I never get telemarketing calls...until now.

I just received a call from this phone number. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

yes- guess they have made it to the 714 area code. Just got a call and left it to voicemail.

Like everyone else, got a call and was offered a "Free home alarm system".
Only difference between my call and everyone else's here is that my only option was to press 1 to agree and to speak with someone. I didn't wan't to press 1 and find some random bill on my cell phone account months later.

Pinged my cellphone today.  Didn't pick up.

At 13:58 Pacific time on May 10th, 2010 I got a call on my cell phone with a recording of a female who identified herself as Jennifer, stating they will be in my area in the next few weeks installing FREE alarm systems.  I recieved this same call a few weeks ago from (617) 778-7147.  I knew this was another Scam so this time I pressed "1"  and was transfered to a freindly fellow named Jacob.  He gave the pitch as I waited then when I didn't respond he politely hung up.  These people are really gunna get in trouble, because eventually, they'll be busted.  I hate to see young people sucked into these kinds of scams because it's not them that came up with it.   By the way, Faisal Shahzad, the New York City Bomber (failed), worked at Affinion Group in Norwalk Connecticut.  They call themselves "An International Marketing Group".  They have been reported, many times, for illegal practices.  I wouldn't be at all surprized to hear that they are involved with this one.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone.  When I picked up, I got an automated message from a woman claiming that they'd "be in my area" installing alarms and encouraged me to press '1' so that I could take advantage of the service and "be protected."  I didn't press anything and the call automatically disconnected after a few seconds.

I received an unsolicited phone call from 401 365 6260 about installing alarm for free, just a monthly free

Received a call didn't answer. My cell phone has an "add to blocked senders" function looked # up here and blocked it.............

Got the call while I was away from the phone. Called my cell provider to file a complaint. Then called Rhode Island attorney general to file a complaint. Consumer relations office person had received other complaints. Identified the number originating in Pawtucket. Only action available was to call the number back and put your number on its do not call list. My cell provided also gave me the national do not call list number -- 888-352-1222. Did that as well ... although I know I entered that list previously.

Call came from Pawtucket, RI.
Caller hangs up.

I talked over the guy who answered, used to work in a call center I know how to control a call....he was arguing with me how this is not telemarketing. I am not surprised to see this number all over google with the same "you can have a free home alarm"
stupid people need to go flip burgers, at least then they are producing something other then annoyance.

i am sick of people calling me and asking me if i need their services. If i need you I will call you!! i do not have time to deal with these people!

Received call couple times yesterday from 401-365-6260. First time I saw number, felt from strange but answered, some lady was talking some gebrish. second time I haven't picked up. But again I got a call Today just 10 minutes back. So I became little nervous and curious to know about who the caller is and end up here. Now I realized it's spam call.

They have called me twice. I called back and pressed 1 to be place on do not call list. Hope it works!

My number is in my state and the national Do Not Call lists. Got this call about a home security alarm. It is unsolicited and it was an automated call. The company says they were "Home Security Center #397" and after a few questions transferred my call to Saveology.com, who claimed to be the largest reseller of ADT alarm in the US. ADT, has never heard of them. This most likely is the same sleazebag company that has been behind the "Heather with account services" credit card scam and the extended auto warranty scams in the past. I have phoned complaints to ADT, and saveology.com and shall be filing a repost with the FTC and the FCC.
