I got a call around 1.43 pm eastern time
when I pick the call no response on the other side.

They call me too few minutes ago with the same story about filling out employment online which I actually did and then the creepy guy asked me if I had a high school diploma or GED in the US I said NO and them he said thank you and hung up. If I get the call next time I'm going
to tell them to take a hike lol

I was told NEVER to reply by pressing a number on the phone or entering your phone number as it can do one of two things, it tells the call or robot that the number they automatically called is a good working number and you'll get call for well over a year as I did.  I suggest just reporting it to the police and if you are on the do not call list as I am (and have been since it existed) I'd enter a complaint there.

Another scam very popular among the African American circles is if you enter a number on the phone you will be charged for a collect call a prisoner makes to his family.

I got a call from this number last night.  I did not answer and no message was left.  
Reading all of these notes I'm so glad I did not answer.  I am in Ohio and have no idea how they got my phone number.

Received call from number - didn't answer as I didn't recognize number and I am on the Do Not Call List. Go figure!

Called me twice back to back on my business cell line. I always answer this phone regardless of the number because i am on call 24/7...when i answered the calls there was no response, only silence. Irritating to have these jerks wasting my time and interrupting my workday...

I just got a call from this number 1 (401) 655-6104
RI, USA.  I called it back and it is a company called WN Positions.  If you press 9 and after the beep enter your phone number, it will remove you from the system.  It said I had filled out something online recently saying I was interested in employment opportunities.  This Number keep calling me and I am tier of it. I hope they stop calling my number.

I almost answered this, since I recognised the area code because I am from Rhode Island, but I'm glad I didn't after reading these comments.  I haven't filled out any surveys, but was in the middle of a google search for jobs while they called!  I wonder if they are getting our numbers from Google somehow...

I read these messages and called the number back. It was definitely a recorded voice. First voice said I had been online filking out job applications and so they had opportunities for me. Though I had never contacted this group. Second recording said I filled out a survey and when I didnt give a yes or no answer the voice ended the call. So I would guess thry got my number from me filling out applications online with legitimate companies. Thats rather unnerving.

They call all the time and either a recorded message or the fact we notified them about college or a job. No way did we do this.

401-655-6104 caller called at 6:45 am. Called did not leave a message.

i keep getting calls from that number but i dont answer, i have 2 cellphones and both get calls from that number.

I just received a call on my cell at around 6:45 p.m.  Since I use this phone for work, I answered.  There was a strange click before this person would speak, similar to when you have a bad cell signal and you lose audio temporarily.  I could be wrong, but the man I was speaking with sounded real, not recorded.  About three times I told him I did not fill out a survey, and each response he appeared to grow more impatient.  When he finally got to the point of telling me he was going to ask questions to see if I qualify for positions they have, I simply asked him what name he had listed for this number and he hung up on me.  I assume he/they are either randomly generating numbers to call or bought a list of numbers.  He never called me by name and couldn't tell me who he was supposed to be speaking to.  If he calls again, maybe I will just give the phone to my three year old.  If they are going to waste time spamming us, then my kid might as well waste their time too.

Received call, no voicemail ad I've yet to set it up on my new phone. I wonder if it calls only smart phones? Most apps record your number, for demographic reasons I suppose.

Recieved a call from this number at 338pm (west coast time).  I answered and said hello twice..  Nothing was said and they hung up.  I blocked my number and tried it and got a busy sign.  Added to my block list!

i just got a call from that number and didn't answer.   Then I got a call from another number 401-332-0636  and didn't answer, then I got one from 1-800-507-4275.   Didn't answer that one either.  All within a matter of a couple of minutes.   I think they are the same.  Has that happened to anyone who was called from 401-655-6104?

This number called my cell -- no answer when I picked up. Seconds later same number called my land line-- no one there either.

I just received a call from somone from this 655-6104.  He sounded like a robot.  I had to ask if he was a real person and he laughed and said yes.  He said i was online looking for a job.  I told him why would i do that?  I've been at my job for 17 years and happy.  Then he asked if i wanted to go to school and i said NO and he hung up on me.  I going to keep calling them just like they keep calling us and see how they like it.  Why doesn't police or someone do something with these types of calls.  There is no need.  If we wanted to go to school we would.  We don't nee you to convince us.

This number called at 6:05pm EST today. My phone said it was a Rhode Island call. I don't know anybody in RI and I don't do business with anybody in RI so I let it go to voicemail. Nobody left a message. I then blocked this number in Mr. Number on my android phone. If they calla gain they will get hung up on IF the app actually works properly. I don't know how they got my number but it is a prepaid phone and number so anything is possible I guess.

I started getting calls right after I used my PayPal. There's some weird shenanigans going on here!
