Shows up as omaha ne they left a message saying this is a very important message for... then the message ends. I get at least one call a day.

This is a collection agency.. they are currently trying to get me to pay for fraudulent charges and won't give me the number for the company that they are supposedly collecting for. The guy was completely unprofessional and down right rude to me when i called to find out what was going on with this.

I received a call from this number 402-201-2839 early this afternoon and was away at the time..it was a recording stating that this was a very important phone call and this is not a telemarketer, please get back this this number and they gave us a 800 number....800-584-9348 also gave this a reference number.....i have no clue who this is.....?????????????????

I got a call from this number trying to collect a debt from my husband and they got totally rude with me when i said that we were going to be divorced next week and the judge was going to split out debts then if i was responsible for the debt then i'd pay it. VERY unprofessional and accusing me and saying rude things and threatening stuff! I tried to speak with a superviser and they practically refused! who is this collection agency?

Merchant Credit Adjustors is the name of the company.

I got a very rude call from an Angela, saying I owed $50 for an alarm company. I never received a bill and they just wanted me to give them my credit card number - unbelievable.

Tim from this company called and cussed my daughter out and told her he would not stop calling me.

Good to know I just got a message from TIM also, wont be calling him back for sure!

Got a message from this #, message said Important to call back "Donna", no details...Won't be clling back....

Called out place of buisness. MCA. I returned the call and informed them that we were recieving these recordings at out switchboard and I did not know who they needed to speak with. She looked up the number and apparently had several people they were trying to track down. Said they would remove out number from list.

BILL COLLECTOR NAMED DONNA CALLED ME DID MM WHICH MEAN POSSILBY THIRD PARTY DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY. SHE TOLD ME I HAD SEVERAL MEDICAL BILLS WITH THEM SOME FROM 2002. EXPLND NEED DOCUMENTS TOLD ME THAT SHE WOULD NOT SEND ME ANYTHING. IF I WANTED TO SEE THE DOCUMENTS I WOULD NEED TO COME TO 17055 FRANCES ST., STE 100 OMAHA, NE 68130. TOLD ME THAT IS IF IGNORE THIS THAT THEY WILL SUE ME AND THAT THE SHERIFF WILL BE SERVIING ME PAPERS. I ASKED FOR THEIR ATTORNEY INFORMATION AND SHE WOULD NOT GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION AND SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I CALLED BACK AND GOT ANOTHER REP WHO TOLD ME THAT MY ACCOUNT WAS NOT IN LEGAL STATUS AND THAT SHE COULD WORK SOMETHING OUT. I EXPLAND TO HER DEBT IS NOT VAILD AND I AGAIN REQUESTED ATTORNEY INFO SINCE DONNA TOLD ME I WOULD BE SERVED BY A SHERIFF. SHE THEN SAID THAT SHE WAS DONE WITH THIS CONVERSATION AND SHE HUNG UP ON ME. THEY ARE A JOKE . POSSILBE DEBT BUYERS.

I also received a call from Tim who was rude and verbally abusive. I am looking into legal action.

This number has been calling my home line for almost 2 weeks now. I keep telling them they have the wrong number and they continue to call me at all hours. I answered the phone again today to make sure they were asking for the same person and I once again told them they have the wrong number and to stop calling. He said he has never called before and I said people from your company have and it needs to stop. I said to take my number off their list and he said they don't have a list. He got VERY rude. I am going to see if I can report this to anyone.

This is a scam. They're reading from a spreadsheet. They called her for my brother John (and my phone is in another brother's name because I'm a female and I was living alone with a small son for a long time). They told him that he owed a debt to MUD from 5 years ago. $65.00.

Right off the bat they asked for a credit card number. Then they asked for a bank account number (how many fools are stupid enough to give them this info I wonder?). He didn't give them anything. If this was legit and if it was from 5 years ago, where are the service charges? Where are the interest fees?

This is MCA (Merchants Credit Adjustors). I called and 'Yvette' didn't whispered the company name to me.

They're desperate and whatever it is that they're up to, it sure isn't kosher and I highly doubt if its legal.

Although these other calls sound very unprofessional, they were not rude to me in anyway. I've never had debt collectors calling me but they had our wrong address so I wasn't getting the bill and was unaware that we owed any money until they called. I was a little suspicious as from what friends call me bill collectors usually have 800 numbers so I called the hospital that we went to around the date that the bill says (when we finally got it). They verified that the company that we finally got the bill from was a legitiment company that comes to the hospital to do X-Ray's, MRI's and other things and that it would be ok to mail a check to them. If you have doubts call the place they are telling you that you owe money and verify with them what you owe for. I still wouldn't give them your credit card info or anything like that.

Much like the previous person, I was suprised to get a call from a debt collector as I always pay my bills.  Apparently the people that I owed the bill to had my address wrong so I never received a bill from them.  The representative from MCA was courteous and gave me directions to their office to pay in person.  The company is legitimate.

Getting calls from them yet again.

I was involved in a class action law suit against Merchant Credit Adjusters quite a few years ago. And we won the law suit. They are a horrible debt collector. If the debt is small, they will hold onto the debt for YEARS!! in order to gain lots of interest. The reason for the lawsuit. My roommate answered the phone once and they told her they had a bench warrant out for my arrest. Quick search of the county I live in's website and no warrant out for my arrest. -sigh-
