Had a call. No message. Will block.

Multiple calls. No message

I have the AT&T Call Protect app on my phone.  This call came over labeled as Debt Collector.  Since I don't owe money on anything I figured it was a scam and didn't answer.  No message was left.  I blocked the number although I'm sure they will just spoof a new one.  So tired of the scammers.  Spoofing software should be illegal in my opinion.

There sure are a lot of scum bags in this world! Why don't they go out and get a real job like normal people?

Called my cell.  No message.  Blocked.

Called, left no message. I called them back 20 minutes after they called me and got a machine saying "no representatives were available" and nothing else. Not even who they were or what company or whatever. Seems sketchy to me.

I answered and no one was there but my cell phone wouldn't hang up. Scammers!

Just received a call from them - something about student loan forgiveness.

I do not know who this number belongs to. They do not leave a message. I blocked it.

student loan call.  I dont have student loans. automated voice says they dont have anyone available and to leave your phone number and amount of debt you owe for a call back.

Telemarketer using a soundboard to pitch a shady pro-life charity. Come to think of it, pretty much EVERY charity that uses a paid call center is shady. The next time someone like this calls, ask the name of the charity again and do a quick google search. Odds are it's some "charity" with a name similar to a real charity trying to get your money and keep 80%-90% of it for the telemarketing firm and themselves. If they ask for $20, ask for an address to send the $2 that the charity would actually get. Ask them how much commission they make by conning you into sending money. Eventually the coward on the other end will either curse at you or hang up on you. That's how you know that you've won.
