Comcast confirming service appt. unexpected, since came from Nebraska

This is a FAKE comcast call scam, the number they leave connects to mexico.

Ok! Ready for tomorrow

Said we had an appt with Comcast tomorrow, please confirm.  We don't even have Comcast service!!  Called Comcast, they essentially told me I was crazy, this was impossible as our phone number isn't in their system.

Do you always look up phone numbers when you know who called you?

Every time his momma calls he looks up the number just to be sure it was her he talked to.

They said they were confirming my appt. for comcast service.  I don't have an account...and the call came from Nebraska.....Not sure I get what and how they can scam me, but after reading other compliments about this number, something is certainly going on.  I called the number back and they said they had MY number in their system and I should let them know if it was incorrect, etc.  All on a recording.

Just a machine call from Comcast to confirm/cancel appointment.

It definitely is Comcast, unless someone also is spoofing the same #. They just left me a VM with a reminder of an upcoming service appointment. Wish they would put their company ID in.

Scammers routinely spoof legitimate numbers.

In the last week I am getting communications (emails, phone calls) supposedly from Comcast (allegedly) which do not make any sense. Did finally agree to an appointment. Of course, no one showed up. Called the number we have for Comcast and was told our appointment had been changed-to two days hence but no one called us to inform us of same. Nothing about this sounds right. We're not about to be scammed!!!

I recieved a call today from this number it showed up as JPMorgan Chase   scam scam scam
