Keep calling so I had to pickup, said I have an appointment with Comcast, but I never contact with Comcast before. Weird. And the most weird thing is I found the comments about this phone number are all in recent. Fake comments?

Service call reminder from comcast.  Did not answer, they left message. Date and time frame on medsage matched appt time. Pleasant sutprise from usual crap scam calls i get so many of !!

Legitimate call from Comcast reminding me of my appointment. Only thing was the number they called was a backup number in the event they could not contact me on the land phone which they never tried.

Its my co-workers pretexting calls. They were/is sending them to my home and cell. Now they are sending them to my desk phone. Got another call from jail yesterday.

I've been getting these calls for a while now on my cell and I do not or have not had an account with Comcast in the past 15 years I've had my phone number. Last night I told them to take me off there list and any subsequent calls will be considered harassment. It is illegal to call without consent, and under the Telephone Consent Protection Act, you can sue.

The number is always 402-220-1071 from Nebraska.

There were options to confirm, or cancel my apt, but the third option is to speak with a representative where "Candace" told me that a "Sara" would be reaching out to me to discuss the harassment and prevent any further attempts to reach out to me with falsified information.

If this is really Comcast, 1) i never give out my cell number   2) I don't have Comcast.   Recording left a message to call them if I wanted to change my appointment time - scam to get you to call them.

People saying they don't do business with Comcast may be getting calls because someone messed up on the number they gave.

This is absolutely a fake/Fraudulent phone call showinf Comcast from phone number 402-220-1071 on the caller ID. Gave me an erroneous appointment date. When I hit 3 to speak to a customer service rep, she wanted to “confirm” my name,address and last 4 of social. Told her I didn’t feel comfortable and would call Comcast directly.  I contacted Comcast directly, and as suspected, they never called me nor did I have a scheduled appointment!

Also- Nice try by these other comments posted by “Steve” that it’s legitimately Comcast and that they are just reminding you of your appointment.  Nice try, Scammer!! The call has been reported to Comcast fraud department and the police department.  DON’T ANSWER ANY OF THEIR QUESTIONS!  IT’S A SCAM!!!!!!!!!

Got the fraudulent call so I called comcast...they confirmed that I am not a customer, but the experience with comcast customer service was something I hope never to experience again.

Says they are comcast calling for a repair.  Keep calling saying appointments is scheduled.  Asked for my social security

Caller ID number was 402-220-1071, left message about upcoming Comcast appointment except I am not a customer. Call back number given was 888-562-9191. Ignoring since they’ll probably ask for sensitive information when I KNOW I am not expecting anything from Comcast.
