They wouldn't tell me what it was about without "confirming my identity"; I said I wasn't sure I was interested in talking to them (they said something about business in Texas, which I don't have...) and they said I didn't have a choice. so I hung up to prove them wrong.

They keep calling my cell phone asking for Eric?  Do I sound like an Eric, don't think so!  But, they still continue to call 3 times a day.

When they don't leave a message, you know you did the right thing not answering the phone!

A woman called me from this number and said she was out of Houston.  She kept asking me if I was Nicole and wanted me to confirm my address and social security number.  I told her I was not going to give out my information to someone I didnt know.  She became rude and said that by federal law she needs to know who she is speaking with.  I hung up on her.

This number has called a business phone several times but never leaves a message.  This morning my line rang and it was them again.  They asked for me by first name no last name claimed they were looking for relatives of mine a Bill Gillham or Ned Gillham, I have no relatives by these names.  He would not say why he was looking for  them and when I asked what company he was with he just said URLall he would say is he was suposedly looking for relatives of mine.

this number calls my cell phone everyday, never leaving a message. The first time I answered, they asked for me by name, I asked who was calling, they said something about a "recovery agent" and asked me to hold.  As soon as he put me on hold, I hung up. They then called my daughter-in-law's home number and asked if she knew me and if she would give me a message the next time she talked to me for me to call some 800 number. Not once have they left a message on my phone, but they call every day.  I finally programmed this number into my phone with a "silent' ringer style so I never know when they call anymore.   Anyone who is with a collection agency, if that is who they really are, should leave a verbal message asking you to call back at their 800 number. If they don't then it's not a legitimate call.

This number keeps calling my business phone asking for someone who used to work here.  I answer it as the business and nothing on the other line.  I used to get a woman asking for the past employee.    I've told them this is a business and they are no longer able to call here and leave a message or anything.  Do their own collecting without involving the business.  By law when we say that they are no longer supposed to call.  But They Still Do!  I just called them back and it is United Recovery Systems.  I told her "Several times I have requested this business number be not contacted and if they don't abide by my request I will report them."  She said "okay I'll remove this number"  So we'll see.... but stand up America and tell these bone heads to stop!
I wish someone would invent a push on the phone to "block" an incoming call.  We can block texting but not the call it self.  Hey a million dollar idea!  Block a call from your phone at the push of a button. That would be nice!

Phone calls from this number is getting a little ridiculous when they call my parents house and ask for me when I have not even lived there for over 20 years!!!

This number just called and asked for my ex husband.....when I told them hes never resided at this address, she got confused, then she tried saying my dad was listed as a realative of my ex...... We havent been married for over 10 yrs and hes since been remarried and divorced. We will see if they call back or not.
