📞 This number called my home phone yesterday with DATA AXLE as the display name. I couldn't make out what the caller was trying to say apart from hearing the name of one of my business entities. I told the caller I wasn't interested and hung up.

From what I found online, Data Axle was formerly Infogroup and it looks like this company collects data for marketing purposes.

Caller ID shows spam risk & the same as all those that posted here on 800 they are trying to update our organization name and information.  If we wanted an update we would put up a website & place it on social media.  We don't trust any caller because they can make up anything they want, they can get any company name on Google its all out there for everyone to see.  Just way to much scams out there & how do we know they are legit????  I BLOCKED THE NUMBER!!!!

A lady called and asked for Fritts Law Office. I informed her we were a tractor dealership. She went on to keep asking questions as to rather Fritts Law Office is still in business. I ended the call. I have no clue who Fritts Law Office is as I have never heard of them in this area. Who has time for this and what is the purpose of such calls?

Have none of you looked up what data axle is or what they do? Do you not even have a clue how name address and phone number (nap) consistency affects your business across the internet? A lot of online directories and map services use their information to find and locate your business online. Instead of cowering behind your desks when the phone rings, learn how NAP affects your SEO and start picking up the phone to make some sales.

If this company you clearly work for is so wonderful, why did they send you here to shill for them?

Same thing. Asked if this was "business name", and if our address was "......". Creepy. When asked who was calling the woman said 'Express..". Bizarre.

Some loser calls asking for updates information. I hung up and blocked the number. You should too!

What is the scam?  It doesn't sound like one from what you posted.

Caller neft no message.  Assuming scam caller based on past posts.

Lady called my business. She gave me an address and asked if it's correct. I said it's not my address. She asked me for my real address. I hung up. SCAMMERS EVERYWHERE..BEWARE!!!
