Repeated automated messages from debt collector CBV Collections looking for “David Kennedy”.  I have never heard of them.

Debt collectors often work with old paperwork (especially if the debt has been sold several times), so the phone numbers they have for the debtor often have changed hands.
“David Kennedy” had what is now your number, perhaps just before you received it, or perhaps several subscribers ago.
Unless you like getting messages from debt collectors, you are going to have to contact them and let them know your number no longer belongs to “David Kennedy” and that they need to stop calling.  You will most likely need to do this in writing.

Voice message from debt collector CBV Collections for someone not at my number.  I’ll take the advice to notify them in writing.

CBV Collections keeps calling for Jeremy Jesso  who must have owned my number before me.

Debt collector CBV Collections is leaving messages looking for someone not at my number.  Unfortunately, based on personal experience, they aren’t what you’d call a good company (a low bar with debt collectors) so even if I tell them that they have the wrong number they’ll just keep calling.  I’d recommend blocking the number, endure the robocall voicemails and eventually they’ll stop calling.

They buy old debt and then call over and over. It’s all they got since you can’t be forced in any way to pay them and they have no mechanisms to sue you etc. Just ignore them, block them and so on. Nothing will show up on your credit report and they know it. Laugh at them and move on.
