I have a car for sale. They call pretending they are a buyer... but I can recognize the 'nice' voice and the phone number is too simple that it means only one thing...a company!
I spoke with them, they want me to spend $500 to guarantee me a sale of my car! I said I would double it if they brought me a buyer, and then wasted more of their time...they finally hung up.
FRAUD - SCAM - SCUM BAG...AVOID TOTALLY.

Very annoying, they've been calling me for 4 weeks and at least 3 times a day.

Yep, these guys have also been calling multiple times a day. Nobody important, just some trash company. Surprised this number hasn't been cancelled yet.

How do I report this number to the local police? This is completely unacceptable.

Your local police dept may not be the place to report the calls or the scam.
IF you gave us more info, we could give you specifics.

this is a fraud, don' send any info about yourself and report it to proper authorities.

Got a text from this number. Said they were HSBC bank. And that my account had been hacked it. Wanted personal information sent. The problem is I don't have an account with that bank

I just got a similar txt as Marc, but I dont have an hsbc CC or debit card.
