- MWIf you go to the do not call list page you will find a link to the CRTC complaints page. I just filed a complaint against the above number. I would suggest that everyone who is being harassed by this scam do the same. If the CRTC receives enough complaints they will have no choice but to act on them.

- JeffreyGot a call saying that I have won 100,000 award miles. I do not own an Air Miles card, nor have I ever put my name in for a draw.
- NathanAirmiles Scam.... the 403 number is disconnected if you call back. These guys are super sketchy!
They tried calling me back with this number: 800-490-7452
This is my post from the 800 #.........
Originally had a call from them 2 days ago from a local (403) number.Automated voice message stating I won 100,000 airmiles points, press 1 to accept. Transferred to a guy asking if I was 25 years old and had a valid credit card. Instantly trasferred to a girl (both barely spoke English) who started a spiel about me accepting an offer, blah, blah. I cut her off stating I was not interested in her Cancun trip but wanted the free points they had offered on the message. I had to keep cutting her off 4 times asking her the legalities of what they were doing, finally she hung up on me. I called the number back minutes later... it was a disconnected number. On a call with AMEX the rep told me airmiles had a warning on their site about not using automated calls and to watch out for scams. I reported the info to the anti-fraud organization here in Canada, they're already looking into it.
2 days later.... just received a follow-up call from 800-490-7452, from the 'Quality Assurance' division asking if the person I spoke with was friendly....... I asked the guy (spoke very good English) where he was calling from, Answered: Cancun, Ocean Spa Resort... I asked him about legalities... all he wanted was to ask , "can I explain the offering to you".... I asked for a number to call him back because I was wary about scams, he told me to just look at my phone because I had call display (how the heck does he know that?), I mentioned I had already reported it to the agency and knew it was a scam... his reply was if it was a scam they wouldn't have a Quaity Assurance Dept. (lmao.... ok legit right? yeahright!) ... he hung up shortly after.
I called the number back, many options to choose, tried a few, they all link back to the same rolling spiel in Spanish and never actually reach anyone.
Beware of these guys!!!!!
Nate - Dave replies to DianaI got the same call today, didnt have to give any CC info to get the promo code...Still hung up.
- DaveGot the same type of call at work in Belleville,ON
The recording said my name had been entered in a draw at Walmart and I had won a trip to Cancun and to push 1
I pushed 1, another lady asked if i was over 25 (yes) if i had a valid CC(yes) was transfered to another lady in "Cancun" who went on her spiel about what I won...I let her go through it (slow day at work!!!)
and politely told her i wasnt interested. They never asked for a credit card # or anything.
I'm not saying it's legit...and it's definately Unsolicited...but they never actually asked for any personal info from me.
I ended up hanging up at the point when they told me the retail price of the 2 trips (1 was a bonus trip to Orlando) was around $3500 but all I had to pay was $349 per person. I told her I dont spend that kind of money without talking to my wife. She said she would "see what she could do" and put me on hold... That's when I hung up.- Caller: cancuncalling.com
- morganGot a call from this number on my company cell, let it go to voicemail and they never left a message. It really disturbs me that there are so many of these scam calls going out all over the place, what happened to having an honest job?
- JamesWhen I answer the phone at work I say Air Canada can I help you... and you get automatically transferred. Well they said as a West Jet customer I qualify for discount travel This didn't go very well for the agent in Cancun as he tried to hang up on me 3 times.
SCAM ..as I was telling the story to a friend his cell phone rang and it was them.I also get the calls at home what a pain.there must be a way to stop them.- Caller: www.cancuncalling.com
