4 calls in one day so far, message left everytime, all of them sounded like pocket dials, first two just heard muffled voices, last two I could hear at least one clear voice speaking thai or something.. but it stil sounded like the person was talking to someone else on a different phone.

I'm sure this number call I was selling car on Kijiji I think it's advertising Web Site when u asked she said she is not maybe a scam then I didn't answer anything u said if you want come take a look bye now and I dropped the call she still ask question and make conversation

Multiple calls over the past couple months, likely from an auto diaper.
Appears to be a third party company in regards to searching for cars for their clients. I had avoided answering for quite some time but got fed up and answered. Sounded like a call centre.

Clearly about my car I am selling. Must have been on browsing kijiji to find it. Asked detailed questions to confirm the post details were accurate. Said it was free and only in the efforts to find their clients a car.

I got a call from this for a car I posted on kijiji. They called me on my cell ( which was not posted on kijiji anywhere). My husbands cell was posted. Wouldn't tell me how they got my number...  kept asking about the car.

Just called from this number right after I posted a Van for sale. Clearly a call center, the questions were asked in a manner that they were some sort of premium buyer service etc., I hung up midway through the broken english questions on the van, that you usually get right after you post on Kijiji, typical, getting crafty using a local # to call, I bet they port through local #'s all over north america.

I think it's the scam where they get you to say yes and use that to apply for credit cards or something using your name.

Yes, same as others in this thread. Called on my car for sale on Kijiji. Said her name was Ashley, had an accent. Asked some ligit questions, said she would call back if interested, had to think about it. Tried calling number today and just get a beep and then lines goes dead. Obviously something is fishy.

Call 5 times in a row. I picked up on the 5th try.. I am selling my car on kijiji and some lady in a muffled voice asked about the car I was selling. I hung up.

Called as soon as I posted a car for sale on Kijiji. Didn't answer and came here and checked. Looks like the same story for everyone.

I just got a call from the same number (403)-879-2928.  Someone named Wanda asking me about a car I posted on AutoTrader.ca.  Tried to sound like a premium car broker...  I answered questions about the car, but that was it.  She said she'd speak to her client and that they'd get back to me.  Sounds fly-by-night to me.
