I get this number calling,  and I do not know anyone with this number.

Again,  this number is from the same area. Do not know number.

So, I got a call from this number this evening (a lonely, boring Friday evening). I let one woman give me a long drawn out pitch about how I won a cruise PLUS ocean front accommodations in Florida PLUS tickets to Disney PLUS a separate trip to Mexico PLUS a free car rental (and I think there was more). Knowing it was too good to be true, but being entertained (and enjoying wasting a fraudster's time) I kept oooing and awwing and agreeing to how wonderful this all sounded. Woman one transfers me to woman two, to set up my prize.

Woman two repeats all of the prizes I won, joking about sharing the gift with her! Finally, the punch line! All I have to do is pay the taxes! Now, By credit card. Everything else would be sent to me (later) ... absolutely FREE!! "So, just pull out your Visa and read me the number!" I said, "of course I will get a contract to review first, right?" ... Oh, absolutely, as soon as you give me a credit card number! No no, I say, I need to see the details BEFORE giving you the credit card number. The woman get stern with me ... "Ken, you know that we need payment before we can send you tickets. So, just give me the credit card number and it will all be good!" I repeat myself and she repeats herself and I repeat myself, etc. She get's more belittling and stern, saying ... "Ken, obviously you don't do much online booking, do you? (scoff) Let's just start with the expiry date!" I repeat myself one more time, "but I need to see what I am agreeing to" ... she repeats her part.

So, I put her on speaker-phone and set my phone down. She stayed online, calling my name and asking for the credit card info, for a good 5 minutes with NO response of any kind, before she finally hung up.  

Maybe I missed out on a good thing :(
