- HouseisarmedThis number called, the ID said preferred network, a weird voiced man said he was calling in regards to new technology security systems. I asked what system. He said that's a question you'll have to ask the Tech. He immediately transferred the call. I was sure this was phony. Music played. A male associate named Devon got on the phone. The company name he gave me doesn't exist. He said his company was installing security systems for free in my area to promote the business, and that homeowners would be responsible for a $30-40 monthly fee. He wanted to know if I had a security system and what kind. If I had pets over 50lbs that would trip the alarm. What my name was. He asked for way too much information. I asked him to call back later that day, when someone could converse with him about this system that is better then all the others apparently. He never called back. When I called the number back, a recording said it was in regards to confirming a google business ad name, and if I wanted to be removed from the list to press 2. I did. When I called back again, there was only silence. This is definitely a scam, people trying to get personal information and gain access into people homes to rob them. Beware.

- Rick TThis must be the season for home security scams. I am getting lots of calls from different numbers. Keep blocking them but I keep getting calls from new numbers.
- CindyI just received a call from this number...George told me that they are installing 20 free security systems. I told him I didn't need 20 systems...that was just darn right silly to think that anyone would need that many when one should do the job. He started getting upset with me, so I asked for more information, just to keep him on the line. He wanted to transfer me, but I kept asking him questions about their systems. I finally told him I wasn't in the market for another security system at this time, but if he had a surround sound system or a water filtration system, or even a good filing system, we could talk. He got angry and asked if I was intentionally wasting his time, and I told him he apparently wasn't as dumb as he seemed because he finally figured it out! The next thing I heard was the dial tone.
- G replies to AnonymI seriously doubt this is a debt collector. Because if it is their calling illegally. They are supposed to send you something in writing when they start calling. We don't have anything in collections anyways.
No this is a scammer pure and simple. - stop calling me!!!!!!!how'd i get on the list -was it my ex's doing?
i get at least 1 call a day from a different number!!!!!!!! - SallyCindy....you have the right idea. If you have the time to waste their time, then do it. Wouldn't it be great if everyone played along for 5 minutes? This may change their productivity logs!
Thanks for the idea Cindy!
Ps...if they ask for your address or phone #, give them that of your local police department. Maybe that may get them to slow down???? Just a thought!
Since the DNC list is of no use whatsoever,(well it is, if you are a legitimate business) the game needs to be changed. I say, start playing games with these crooks, scammers and low life criminals!!- Caller: Unknown security systems

- GApeachI get a call from this number at least once a day. They have given me their names of George and Malcom. One time, it was a female who called. I stop them mid-spiel ("Free security systems") and ask them never to call again. I call their number and it's a recording saying "please hold", then they hang up on me. Really, "Preferred Network", I will never give you any money. Just stop calling!

- WonderingThe caller said he was giving away 20 security systems, but then he hung up. When I returned the call, the person (or recording) said thanks for returning their call, and asked if I was a business who wanted to update their information for Google. I hung up.
