iam retired, total goverment time, 26 years, i served two tours of duty in nam, with hardly any cost of living allowance anymore, iam making what i did 10 years ago, when i realized that these telemarketers call you 3-4 times a day, i used to unplug my phone, but i was missing dr. appoinments, relatives calling,etc. then in 2010 i had a heart attack, since then i have to wear a lifeline button around my neck, if i unplug the phone, the lifeline modem flashes red, danger, because they cant recive my alert button, so i have the phone plugged in, 404-400-1124 calls me, wont leave a message, or thier mail box is full, if they ask for a donation, for whatever, i would at least know what they want, they call at suppertime, any time, can i be left alone? i watch tv, ive got diebetes, iam 64, iam on borrwed time, that goverment do not call list is a joke, as soon as you get your first credit card, you young people, they sell everything about you, once they give up your ssc. no. your cooked, and its going to get worse, i would not want be born next monday, at 2:00, i ve had enough, those people are going to wake up in a nightmare, so make sure you have have money put away for your retirements, dont wind up like me, one outfit called me 26 days in a row, three times a day, but dont want to talk to you, thats insane, wheres the aclu? who do you call? i lost my civil rights in 1970, when my wife and i got our first credit card, what a discrace.

I received a call from the # 404-400-1124..didn't recognize the #, so didn't answer.

First thing you need to do is start writing down the times / dates / and offending telephone numbers - even if they are spoofed numbers.
Next you need to file a complaint with your local telephone company and also submit a complaint with your local police. If you are being annoyed by the same filthy scumbags on a consistent basis - then that constitutes telephone harassment.  Repeated unsolicited calls need to be criminally prosecuted.

I received a cell phone call from this number today (4/11/13). I am registered on the Do Not Call list, and have been for as long as that blocking capacity has been available. So obviously the caller is not in compliance with the law. Isn't it time for the FCC to enforce the law?

tell them you took the drug let them fill out a bunch of paperwork,waste their time like they're wasting ours..then ask them for their cell phone# they'll tell you they do't' want people calling their cell, then say either do i and hang up

Also, besides the number listed above, here is another cell number not to answer is ~ 404 400-1147.  I received this call this morning and did not answer since they did not leave a message, and of course, there was a *NO name* listed.  Callers beware of these numbers with no name listed or with no messages.  I simply delete all messages when not sure of who the caller is, especially if they don't leave a message.  If they were up and up they would certainly have the decency to leave a message.

My greeting on my answering machine cut off the beginning of the recording, but it was something about possibly getting compensation if I or someone I knew took some kind of birth control--Yasmin or something like that.  I deleted it before even listening to the whole thing.  Called once (& hopefully not again) at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Ever since I signed up for DNC, I've been getting floods of unwanted calls from companies who are "exempt" from calling the numbers on it, like charities. The American Lung Association called me 3-4 times a day, every day, from Dec to Mar.

Stupid co. name on the Caller ID reminds me of the Star Wars robot, R2-D2.

I don't answer calls I don't recognize or want to talk to.  Like Rose above says, legit companies leave a legit message, addressing you specifically.  Also, the co. name appears, or at least a valid phone number where you get live person, identifying themselves as that company.  (Although I got a call from my renter's insurance company that just said "Unknown Caller", but they left me a message. I knew it was legit.)

I never answer unknown numbers, but if a message is left i check it and decide if is important to me or not. Then i edit the number as trash or something bad to avoid wasting my time.

I am fed up with these calls. I do not appreciate them, but some social services, and doctors offices us
"private caller"! This makes no sense, because it could be anybody!

Robo calls cost nothing to these companies..they can make a million calls a day....if only very small percentage of people fall for their scam it is still profitable for them...reporting them to the FCC,signing your number up with the DNC does nothing..just buy a call blocker...they call once and get added to the blacklist..that's it..next time they call,they get blocked.

If you get a call from this telemarketer, please file a complaint with the FCC and FTC: http://www.fcc.gov/complaints and https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx. If they receive enough complaints, they'll investigate. In addition, they send information on how to file a lawsuit. Information on their website says they have shut down five of these scams.

You have to file a complaint with the FTC & FCC when you receive these calls.

I received a call from this so called r2j2 (but the name wasn't displayed) from another number. I do not believe for a moment that these are attorneys.

I keep getting calls from 812 923 3520 and they never leave a message or say anything when I pick up. They've called at different hours of the day including 2am.

criminals are now added  to PRO call blocker version 2.0...the best $59 you will ever spend.
1200 number blocking capacity..up to 10 area codes can be blocked...also you can block criminals with no phone numbers on their caller ID.
blockers with 50 or 60 number capacity..you will run out of numbers in a couple of months.
FCC is in bed with these criminals:
1-do not answer the calls that you do not recognize.
2-search on awesome websites such as this one,for the phone number and once you see the numbers here,
3-stop wasting your time with useless reports and complaints and by a good blocker.

Some BS robo call offering free home security evaluations.  Welcome to my blocked call list, R2J2 COMPANY.  Smells like a SCAM.

A robo call pretending to be part of "our local officials" in the fight against crime, eg; want to sell you an alarm system. It goes on to assume that you WANT this, and to press one to set up your appointment for a free assessment. But hey, the brochures are free!

I have filed hundred of complaints and not one thing has come of it.  Whoever is in charge of this is as useless as a side saddle on a hog.
