I have received several calls/messages over the past few weeks.  I have also received similar calls/messages from another number in the past year.  Basically the same message every time. "This is (name of caller) from the Financial Crime Division.  I have you listed as a central subject in an active criminal investigation being downloaded in you accounting (or county) today.  I nee to speak with you or your retained attorney immediately regarding this matter."  I never answer and as with most of the other posts I have read, it is usually a literary persons name, including Robert Frost.  They even used Karen Rogers who is like a journalist/ news celebrity in Philadelphia. It is getting absolutely ridiculous and someone should do something about it.

Keep calling Robert  frost saying a case related to my checking account SSN# and cell number is being downloaded into court for fraud I have gotten  three calls this week blocked the number I won't make any contact with them either

Likely the call source is the same each time, cycling through different spoofed numbers.

} The first one said I could pay $3000 to make this go away.

Right, and the second one would want $4500 to make it go away again, and the third would ask $6100 ....

Mr. Frost has miles to go before he sleeps ... on foot because his crummy job at the extortion shop doesn't afford him bus fare home.

Stop calling this number its unlisted phone number don't call again

I got a call from this same number today at 9:24a. Her name was Karen Rogers, said she's from financial crime calling about a case I am the subject in that is downloading in my county today. I don't have any crimes against me, especially financial crimes. I keep close eye on my credit reports and I've also checked my local court records for anything filed. What a scam. I will not be calling them back, how the heck they got a hold of my number I will never know. But seeing all these other scammer reports makes me wonder, who can we call to make this stop!

I have been receiving calls like this for a while now. After the first one, which came from a different number, I started bloking them. THIS number is the only one that keeps calling me. I have blocked it, so they no longer can leave a voice message.  Read through some of the other posts to see what you can do. As no one has shown up at my door with any kind of summons or warrant,  I will just continue to ignore them.

I get calls from the poetic Mr. Frost all the time.  I did not readily identify it as a scam because he did not have a middle eastern accent.  I tried to call back once with no luck so.  Then he called again.  What caught my attention was that he always said it would be downloaded to the court house today.  I thought it was weird but I was worried.  I had previosly defaulted on pay day loans and thought I had them all paid back or in the process but .... there was so many I wasn't 100% sure.  Now that I see your posts here it makes me think that I did get all my accounts squared away and this is bogus.  It just ticks me off.  I can't stand the idea of people praying on people who are struggling and doing their best to get by.  I came on hard times and didn't intend to end up with cash advances.  I worked hard to make arrangements to pay everyone back and it burns me that someone out there is trying to make me doubt my success.

Getting the same calls from Robert frost on a number we have no phone for only voicemail.

My husband has been getting calls all last week and this week from all the same numbers and same names I called it back they had all my husband info. said that he owed for a internet loan and can pay a small fee of 693.17 to keep this from going to legal matters. what should we do about this

This is a scam. When I called the number back I asked them for the name of the company and the address. I got 3 different names of the so called business but they gave me an address in Atlanta Georgia. I contacted the fraud unit at the Atlanta Georgia police department and spoke to an investigator there and he confirmed this is a scam. He has received calls about this and he also told me that there is nothing but an empty building at that address. These scammers are just trying to scare people to extort money. Ignore these calls. And apply a fraud alert to the credit bureaus.  I hope this helps.

Received ANOTHER call from this same scamming group her name is Karen Rodgers, however she is calling from 404-410-1518 this time as last time she called from 404-418-7979. This is a bad scam. Do not call them back. I continue to Block the numbers they are calling from and they continue to call using different numbers each time. Frustrating.

I received two calls today also from karen rodgers using 404-410-1518 claiming she is from the financial crime division demanding to return her call or my lawyer.  This is the first time I have dcvd calls like this.   I was upset about the call especially for my age ate 73 and retired with so many health problems, it's depressing to get calls like this!!! So I started goggling her name and phone and I found your post and others.  My hunch of being this call a scam is confirmed, I am not responding to this call.  I may have to change my cell number as unpublished.  Thanks everyone for your post.

Thanks for your post and everyone else, I got exactly he same call from a karen rodgers 404-410-1518 claiming to be with the Financial Crime Division.  Now I know this is a scam.

This morning I received two consecutive call from Karen Rodger.  Her message says: "This is Karen Rodgers from the Financial Crime Division.  I have you listed as a central subject in an active criminal investigation being downloaded in you accounting (or county) today.  I need to speak with you or your retained attorney immediately regarding this matter."  I googled her name and found several post regarding these calls.  I am a retired 73 years old woman and a lot of health problems!  I don't need to receive any call such as this!  Please make an effort to stop these criminals from bother good citizens.  Thank you so much & God Bless.
