Scam they got my number from craigslist!

They won't stop calling despite telling them I think they are scamming.  Saying she is Srgnt Lopez, but has Carribean/African American tone.  Something about mail/ a check/ not sure.

My brother got a call asking for me; said was to serve court order or something. My brother told him to f-off. Left a message on my voicemail stating he was a process server with court docs. Had my last four SS digits, name and address. Said to return call at (562)387-2895. Have no debts. This guy must have got info off people finder on internet. Eerie that he had my info.

they called saying it was a medical bill to please put me on the phone and i said [***] offf this is not his number and hung up. i called back and it doesnt go through!!! its a scam

Saw this comment after reading through a lot of comments..it may make sense why such a variety of comments have been posted.

Just got a call from above number on my cell phone,  did not answered, but looking up on here found out it's a scam and don't have any credit card debt.

Was a call from CAQH credentialing department (an insurance credentialing database for providers). I am a licensed mental health worker and they were calling to tell me that I had failed to re-credential and that I might be dropped from the network if I did not recredential in 30 days.

Just got a call from this number.  I let it go ti voice mail. Message said that they were sending me certified papers two days from now. when i called back, recording said nit a valid number...

Keep getting calls from this NUMBER but they hang up before I can get on the the.. READING THESE POST IM glad this forum is here..

SCAM i blocked

Called my cell today, ID said "Unavailable", I did not answer, they left no message.
Judging by the notes here, it's probably another scammer.
Blocked on my cell.
Go to www.endrobocalls.org and sign the petition.  It's by the Consumer Reports Magazine folks, and they are pressuring the Feds and phone companies to stop this nonsense.  Spread the word !

Some lady just called me saying that she had to serve me some papers.  Gave me a phone number for another "law firm" after reading these comments i blocked the number and didn't even bother calling the number she gave me.

Person claims to be Erick Johnson an IRS AGENT. Not just a scam but also extremely illegal. Hang up immediately before giving out any info about yourself. I was left a voicemail by 404 455 9111 and was told to call 213 839 9399 to find out why the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. The first number is for outgoing calls but the second number is active.

Robotic voice telling me that the irs is suing me and that I need to call a different number.

It most be hacker! I have NO CALLS on and this number Call me! The clock was 5:45 pm!

i got a message at my home phone form a 1-906-984-4992, from Saint Agnace, MI.  In a voice that sounded like a robot's, I heard a message that said my debit card in locked and need to unlock it my calling that number.  It was an obvious fake!  The next day, I got a call from 404-455-9111, but I didn't answer.  Obvious Scam!   I hope this warns others out there.

Got a call from this number, I answered it and heard woman on the other end with a heavy indi, Pakistani, accent asking for me by my nickname and I never use my nickname for business so im wondering how and where she received this information. Anywho I hung up but when i called back i receiced the message" the caller you are trying to reach can no longer be reached at this number.......hmmmmm I wonder why?

I have received numerous calls from this number attempting to sale me a Medical Alert System. I told them I didn't want one and to remove my number from their call list. They still continue to call. Very frustrating!!!

Left a message just saying my name, lots of noise in the background like there was wind blowing maybe from outside.
