This # appeared 5 times in my caller ID today at 1:59pm, 2:00pm 2:02pm 2:14pm and 2:40pm.  The guy left a # to reach him back, 1-866-803-1801 X1608 and said his name was KC Kelly.  I tried to call back so I could harass him, and said the # was being checked for problems.  I'd like to know what is so important that he had to call 5 times and he didn't say the correct first name (but is similar) to mine.  I don't have a debt issue besides all home related stuff is in another name (not mine).  The few bills I have, are paid and current so if he calls like this again, he will be sad he called me.  I believe I saw this # pop up in my caller ID at work today also.

This company has called me at my work number 10 times in a 15 mins span last friday. It got so bad that I had to finally answer and when I did answer to told Mr Cofman to NOT call me at work again.  Well guess what he called again today 10 times in 10 minutes.  when I tried calling him back their answering service said that they didn't have anyone there by that name. So I asked to talk to a superviser which i got her voice mail.  I left her a wonderful message telling her that I have reported their company to the FTC and will be looking into harassment charges because it turned out that since i didn't/wasn't answering their calls they asked to the be transfered to my HR department. With in 15 mins of leaving that message I got another call this time from the superviser saying that she was take my work phone number out of whatever file they had and that she will try calling me back later this evening at the alternative number they had to try to work out this matter out without having to get the FTC involved.

The main 'extension' they give is blocked out by the so called 'static' on their end. Further staging includes phone ringing in background at end of call. Doppler effect on ring.

I've receieved a call from 4045230411 over the past week, the individual was leaving a message for me to call their office, but not leaving any details about what it was. So I did a little research and found this site. Then yesterday I received a letter from this company claiming that I owed them money on an account that I had several years, however I immediately remembered that I had paid this account off over 4 months ago with Tate & Kirlin. So today, I called the number, and I found out that this company doesnt seem to like to talk to you when you tell them that they are trying to collect a debt that was paid off. When they picked up I was immediately greeted in a snobbish tone, and as I proceeded to tell the woman that they were in error, I was immediately placed on hold... every 30-45 seconds being greeted again and asked to hold for over 10 minutes, seemed no one wanted to talk to me since I didnt owe them money. After the game of hold-tag, I was then greeted by "andrew" who asked how he could help me, I told him about the hold-tag game then proceeded to tell him about the account, he then asked about a letter of zero balance, which I told him I had one on the way. Suddenly his tone changed with me and I was told "I dont know why your getting called, your account is closed". Shocking and surprising how quickly my account was closed and I should have never been getting phone calls about the account, one they should have never had. Sounds like a shady operation to me, one that preys on the uninformed. If you get a call from them, make sure you find out what account they are claiming you owe them and see if you have paided them off previously, else you might be paying more for an account you have settled a long time ago.

I receive these calls from a collection agency, when I tell them to send the information via USPS and not to call me again the woman becomes abrasive, indicating her "right" to call me.

They found you by what is called "skipping".  They have some basic information on you, dob, ssn, etc.  They then found an old address/phone number that tied you to your ex.  Unable to find you, they then skipped your ex and found relatives, i.e., his parents.  I am not familiar with this company, but if they are a third party collection agency, your best coarse of action is to call them, get as much information regarding the debt they are trying to collect, name of original creditor, debt amount, etc., and then get this company's name and mailing address.  You can find what is called a cease and decease letter via the internet.  Make a copy of this letter, make is specific to you, your debt, and the original creditor, and mail this letter to them to them.  Best to send this letter via some sort of registered mail to make sure they know that you know they received the letter.  If they continue to contact you, it will be a violation of the FDCPA, and at that point you will have grounds for legal action against them.  MAKE SURE WHEN YOU CALL THIS COMPANY, YOU ENTER *67 BEFORE YOU DIAL THEIR PHONE NUMBER.  This will block your number from either caller ID or if they use *69.  If at all possible, record the conversations you have with this company.  Good Luck!   Maxwell

They actually texted me call us back now...that is just plain rude. They are not even looking for me its somebody that had my number before I guess.

oh just pay your bills!!! stop being a dead beat debtor!! the only reason you're so upset is because you are being exposed...you want to get something for nothing and have no consequencesand expect things you do to disappear...and be forgotten about by others too...life just doesnt work that way... so stop whining!!! and stop living beyond your means!!! because if someone personally owed any of you money you'd be on their back to like a warm coat on a snowy day...why is it diferent though when you owe a company???!!!! hmmmm.....our creator said "owe no man"!!!

First Financial Asset Management has shady business practices even for a collection agency. They are rude and scream and yell and even curse. I have not spoke with one person who I would ever deal with again. My attorney is contacting them and is considering a lawsuit based under provisions of federal law, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)

My work phone belonged to another individual who is no longer with the company, but must have gotten himself in a bind with these people at First Financial. They call all the time and never leave a messege. I called the 404 number and was transfered to a gentleman named Andre (real name or not?)who was not the most talkative or polite person, but he was not abusive, just very straight and business-like. I explained that I don't have any idea who First Financial is looking for. Andre looked up the number I was calling from and gave me a name and I explained that I have no idea who they are or where they are, and that I work in a cube farm so the number could have belonged to anybody. He told me that he would remove my number from the First Financial database. Only time will tell if this is true or not. First Financial has used these numbers to call my phone:

So yes they called a lot (I got 5 - 10 calls a day when I first got the phone which tapered off to about 1 - 2 a day)  I think that after they get no answer after X number of calls to a number, they realize that they person they are looking may be gone and they will keep calling (but less)until they figure out it really is a dead-end, or someone calls from the number and tells them to stop. They seemed to be understanding about it and said they would take care of it. If not I'll post again.

Calls, but no messages.  One time I answered the call, very rude, demanding and harassing person.  Demanding to take care of this, when was first call I had even aware of the situation.

I've notice alot of compliants regarding this company. Wow that are something as they are taking to calling the crap out of me. What I'm doing is just riding it out sooner or later they will give up before I.
