Two calls less than one minute apart on my cell

This caller engages my answering machine, then leaves no message.

Who keeps calling? Answer then they don't say anything.  Then hang up!

I received a call from (404) 793-8108 at about noon on August 10, 2013, but did not answer it. When I called back I received a repeated recorded message to press a number to opt out of future calls. I did not press any number or hang up. Eventually that number hung up. My thinking is they are trying to verify that my phone number is working and monitored.

This number called me last Aug 8 and Aug 13.

Robocall for some kind of prescription plan for "senior citizens".

Into the blocklist it goes..

Called my cellphone!  Hit the key to be put on list not to call again and the message just repeats itself.

Out of frustration with incessant unwanted calls from these disreputable robo-callers, I decided to WASTE their time & set-up an appointment for the security-system install.

It took a very annoying 35 minutes.  
btw: I can't see how they sell anything, as their process is slow, repetetive and did I mention ANNOYING!

They give their company name as "Alliance Home Protection" at (817) 768-2572 (or 2573) and some of their websites are ahprotect.com, alliancesecurityinc.com.
They WILL NOT provide their email or physical mailing address (so the BBB cannot open a file on them).

note : the robo-calls HAVE STOPPED for me; after the install-appointment was set, a few minutes later, someone called back to inquire why the name provided (false oops?) did NOT match the address ownership name ... told them they had been "pranked"; & they abruptly hung-up.  Then a few minutes later, (grrrr!) another robo-call; AGAIN, I set-up a 2nd install appointment (took only 15 mins. this time). I have NOT heard a ring from them since. ymmv.

Called it back. Trying to sell mortgage reduction rates. When called, asked me to leave my number and name as they were to busy at the time, (BS) if you ask me. they are just trying to verify my number.

They left a message on my answering machine about a free medication discount card. This looks like a criminal scam to get your personal information. If the card was free, they would mail one to everybody.

In a way, these free medication cards are..  What happens if you use them is generally your real insurance won't pay a dime, and you end up paying more for the medication then you would have in the long run!

They have called over 20 times despite my constant declines. When I finally answered it was a robocall.
