I got a call from the same company- Vacation properties  Phone number 404-828-0907.  The story never changes after all these postings.  The question is:  How do you legitimately get rid of the timeshare properties without affecting your credit rating?

YES I have had 2 phone calls from 404-828-0907-one call was from "John Brooks" a few days ago and the 2nd call came today from "Andrew Reid" who told me he had a family that wanted to buy my Wyndham timeshare. I was then transferred to "Christopher" who told me I was going to have to give my credit card for $2450.00 for the "legal documents". When I told him I would not give him anything until I reviewed the legal documents he became very rude and loud. He also told me I would speak to someone from the Fed Trade Commission to verify everything and secure the documents. Finally-I disconnected the call and went to the computer---I am so glad I did not give him my credit card information! I am going to report to the BBB tomorrow.

We also received 2 calls from andrew and he was downright hostile!  Talk about a turkey!  If he ever calls again I will go straight to his supervisor and tell him to get this guy fired.

We received a call saying they had a byer for our timeshare in San Antonio, TX and we sent them $2,500 for closing costs and etc.  Have we been taken by this same group.

Be very careful about these companies who say they are consumer advocates and if you pay up front for a lawyer fee they will get your money back. I have had several scam calls from such companies in the past couple months. one of which gave me a callback # which is the same as one who did scam me out of $1700. to list/sell/rent my timeshares 3 years ago. That # was 1-800-300-0180 and belonged to Timeshare Registry International (another of their #'s 727-254-5280).

I have had 2 calls from  NY cos. claiming to have a buyer 4 me 347-821-5203 (Direct Finance) and they gave me the last 4 digits of my chg card used to pay for the timeshare listing 3 yrs ago. They wanted closing fees and 4 me to give them my full CC#. BEWARE of anyone who wants $ up front.  Others scam numbers I have received in last two mos: Greg 407-215-5413; Chris Lucas TFR LLC 954-362-1700; CMG Market Pro 954-362-9813.

Also, today I received calls on my home and cell #'s from a 404-828-0907 referenced by another posting on this site as a scam. I was not home so did not speak to anyone, but this area code if from Georgia.

recd a call from 404-828-0907 about time share sale. I ask the party to just send me the check and i will have my lawyer do the paperwork. he hung up will prob not hear from him again after reading all the feed back

Received a few calls from 404-828-0907.  They were actually arguing me about why I am a fool to pass up on making $27,500 for my timeshare.  I asked them why they needed $1850 up front.  Why can't they take their money from the closing check of $27,500?  They said Federal law prohibits this (FLAG 1).

I asked them well where are you located?  He said Georgia.  I said big state, what is your physical address?  He said he would not give me an address unless I agreed to do business with them - thus pay $1850.  I said what business would refuse to give out their location (FLAG 2).

Thus no sold timeshare, no paying them $1850.  Plus a cancelled credit card in case they get the urge to charge it anyway.

Received calls from 404-828-0907, 404-220-9949, and 404-335-7154.  All the name of a company called Holidays and Planning.  Did same as person above, send me a check and I will have lawyer do paperwork.  Not a prayer.  They wanted $1550 up front for "tax and License cost".  [***].  Simple thing to do anymore with any of these timeshare crap companies - ask them for a physical address.  Where are they located (not just city - actual business address).  See if they give it to you.  I have yet to get one from anyone.  When I state that any REAL business that is doing a legitimate deal for $25K etc, would be happy to fork over there address to get the deal done, and not say to me "I don't have time for jokes".

Yes Dodge-gal I think we have been taken. Andrew Reid called me October 26, 2010 and said that Vacations and Resorts were the closing company for my timeshare. They said they were given my timeshare from Timeshare Goldline. They lied. I was scammed by both places. I'm writing to the Attorney General of both these scammers and get my money back. This is really bad business.
