- another time share owner victim| 1 replyReceived a called from 1-877-484-3027 a lady named Carolina Gomez. She also claimed to have in our name for the same of our time share and said she represented the Federal Trade Commission and that a title company in Chicago has our check and just need for us to pay them 1,350.00 in closing cost. We believe this is a scam. She said her direct number is 404-828-0907 and mention that in order to pay we needed to talk Raul Santana. My husband answer the called and said they were speaking in very good Spanish.

- Barbara| 1 replyReceived a call from 404-828-0907 about my time share being sold and all I had todo is pay them about $1400.00 to get my $26,000.00. Asked for paperwork show my lawyer and they said their manager will call back to fax over info. Never heard from them again.
- leslie replies to BarbaraI received a call from them. They didn't want me to hang up and call them back. I also caught them on the fact that someone from the federal government would call and just ask me yes/no questions to verify who they were...seemed very odd. I told them I just wasn't having a good feeling about it, could I wait and call back..They didn't want to, so I hung up. I asked for the website, but it wasn't very good. Plus, they couldn't pronounce my street....very fishy!!!! Be careful.
- Marv| 2 repliesRec'd a phone call from Andrew Reid 404-828-0907 said he had a guaranteed sale for my time share for $91,200.00 from a "family". Pretty good price for a time share that isn't worth nearly that much in today's time share market. Fast talker...said that the "family" had put down a non refundable 20% deposit. He also stated that the closing Manager would be calling me back in 15-20 minutes.
I requested that he email me everything. Nothing so far! . The red flag here...BBB had a complaint to which they never responded.
I am pretty certain this guy called me about a month ago with the same offer, probably same family, just waiting around.
Legitimate companies don't operate in this manner. This is a scam! Do not pay them any upfront fees. Ask them to email you the sales contract so that you might have a lawyer review it.- Caller: Vacations & Resorts a Closing Settlement Company

- 1-818-864-3253Received a text message from 1-818-864-3253 that stated I have received a new JPMorgan Chase banking message. I do not have a Chase account. I have a T-Mobile family plan, I wonder how they got my number?? I know this must be a scam.
- Caller: unknown
- Marv| 4 repliesFurther to my phone call from Andrew Reid at 404-828-0907, he did call back about 20 ,minutes later. I confronted him with the fact that he called me about a month ago with the same proposal, he denied it.
I asked him to listen closely then as I would advise him the same as I advised the last Individual who called me with a similar propostion. Andrew was advsied that I am a retired police/fraud investigator and that if this was a scam which I suspect it was, that I would be pursuing him personally and that I would make his life very miserable. He said that was OK because it wasn't a scam and began to tell me how they were regulated by the FTC and that someone from the FTC would be calling me to ask me questions that just required a yes or no answer. Dear Andrew hung up when I started to laugh at him.
Somewhere on Google here it talked about being advised of FTC calling to ask questions which only required yes and no answers. They should sell ocean front property in North Dakota!- Caller: Vacations & Resorts Closing & Settlement Co.

- Carlos replies to Marv| 3 repliesI got a phone call from Andrew too, he said that he has a buyer and they wont charge me anything until the buyer sign the contract and start the sell. I wonder if someone knows how we can stop this phone call and get serious people to sell time share. Every one of them said that they have a buyer, how could that be? Phone 404-828-0907, they said they are going to send everything then charge me $2400.00 dls
can you believe that? - berta BrooksThey just called and already had my charge card number from RCM. They told me that our time share was sold for more than what RCM said they sold it for. They where real believeable. I just had surgery and just got home and they didn't want to wait. They also told me they wouldn't charge the card till after we signed the papers. Well right after I hung up we called the credit card company and after we got through all the recordings and got a human they already tried to get the money. I was luckey, we told them we were trying to get through before they made the transaction because we think it might be a scam, and we were afraid that they would get the money because of all the recordings we had to go through. The Credit
card company was able to get our money back and my husband canceled the card.- Caller: Vacations Resorts Closings and settlement company

We got scammed more than once.
- NanaWilliam left a voice mail from this number; calling about my timeshare points. I called the number just to see who it was. They said it was Vacation and Resort sales. Smells like a scam to me.
- LNS'Edwin Clark' of Vacation and resorts Closing and Settlement Co. called from that number today. Claimed to have sold my unit and had the deposit in escrow. He gave an address of 931 Monroe Dr. Suite 102A Usual blah, blah, blah then I was transferred to 'Karen Blimer' of the 'FTC' for verification. Naturally they needed a deposit to sell me condo and when I told her to send me a contract, she refused and said "that's not how it's done."
For any legitimate business that is how it's done. Any business entering into and actual sales transaction of this nature would be happy to provide a contract for review. This is a scam. They don't want to mail anything because that's mail fraud and much easier to prove. Don't give these con artists any of your financial information, or anything else.- Caller: Vacation and Resorts Closing and Settlement Co.

- dee| 1 replyWe received a call from "Richard Walters" saying he had a buyer for our time share weeks. We could call him at 877-484-3027. The offer was considerably more than we would have expected, but we were supposed to pay closing costs up front and we would get a cashier's check in the mail. We were not interested in paying anything "up front" and the deal started to sound fishy. We declined the offer and thought that was the end, but tonight I see we have 6 missed calls from 404-828-0907 -- after reading the other posts above, they must be connected in some way to the person at the 877 number we dealt with.
