Call came to my cell. I answered quickly, no one there.

Same for me, I think it's a guy trying to take bets on sporting events?

Call came on cell phone, looked at area did not answer it, and after 2 rings it hung up....

don't know anyone in Georgia (Atlanta area)

Yeah i got that phone call too.  I think it has to do with betting also.  Have any of you used any online betting services within the last few years?    I know i did in the past and know i have gotten some calls like this and some vegas numbers.

I KNOW WHO'S CALLING US!! I just pulled my Equifax Credit Report and found a promotional inquiry: "FIRST INVESTORS FINANCIAL SVCS" from 02/08 and 12/07. Really, was it that easy? They have offices in Houston, Texas (I'm in Texas) and Atlanta, GA (where I hear a lot of people can get agents to admit they're located).

I called phone number on their website (https://www.fifsg.com/default.aspx) and believe it or not, the voice on the recording is the SAME voice on the recording that's been calling us..."Heather from credit services."

I know that calling them and asking to be removed from their list will do no good, but I AM contacting the Texas Attorney General! Since I am "lucky enough" to be in the same state, I hope to get a massive lawsuit started against these pesky [***]!!
