Got a phone call from them telling me that I have 2 Felony Warrants out for me as of today.

I had received the same call and had ignored it. I was then was stopped for a traffic citation a couple of days later and was taken to jail.

I'm not buying it, Mary.  This is a collection agency trick to try and scare you into replying.  There are no felony warrants out against me or Kristen or anyone else that this company calls.  Any time the courts are involved, you receive a certified letter from the court notifying you of your court date.  

And since the caller's claim of having a warrant for arrest is false, I'm going to have to guess that your claim to have been taken to jail is false as well.  You're probably the woman that called and left the message for Kristen and I, and think that by leaving this comment, anyone else that looks up your number will think that it has credibility.

Nice try though........it's definitely one of the more entertaining methods I've received to try and get me to reply to a collection call.

It's a scam! You CANNOT be arrested for a debt. Debt is a CIVIL matter, not a CRIMINAL matter.
Go to ftc.gov and read the FDCPA and learn your rights.

I was not arrested on a debt, the charge was for a hot check. If you think I am lying about being arrested check the Camden County Court System. I do not know what would make you want to get on the internet and blatantly lie like this. How much free time do you have? You people are obviously scum, by going so far out of your way to try and screw people over for no reason. What is wrong with you ?

Let's get this straight? You wrote a bad check, & we're scum? It's also very easy to check court records, come here, & say you're that person to continue the lie that you can be arrested for debt. Never gonna happen. Writing bad checks, the kind that bounce, different story. Good try to confuse the issue. Not going to scare anyone.

No one is trying to scare anyone. You are the one trying to confuse people. You do not even know the details of my case, or anyone else's, so who are to to try and say what is the truth, and what is not. You need to take a good long look at yourself and why you are compelled to act this way. Oh and by the way my bounced check was a clerical error on my banks end, so I still stand by my statement that you are scum.
