When I answered nobody was there.

I got a call from this number, several times in just a couple of days.  I no longer answer numbers that I don't recognize or haven't coded into my phone.  No message was left.

Hung up the second I answered and within FIVE minutes, I received 3 more calls from different phone numbers, 2 hung up and one speaking with a South Asian accent was talking in the background and then he hung up!

The new method of spamming people is to now get a high speed internet connection in India and just call people non stop!

this phone number showed up as "out of area" while it has the same area code as my house phone.  when I answered it was just a dial tone. very suspicious

This phone number is associated with Career Builder. If you have posted a resume on Career Builder, I'd suggest removing your personal contact information from the resume. Only give potential employers your phone number and address on a direct, company specific application. There ARE people out there that would use Google to locate your residence to determine if your home would contain many items of value. The internet is a dangerous place, sometimes... just be cautious.

I called it and it was some kind of advertisement company saying they had a rebate card for me because I visited one of their affiliates at some website. wish they would have said which one....
