they called me this morning and threatened to throw me in jail and take me away from my kids. I googled there name and the company name and the phone #'s 4049639761 and 8668096996 ext. 314. found out they were not real. I asked them to email me my bill and they sent me a agreement to make payments to them. they didn't have a letter head or any information about the company on the email. i called back and told them they sent me the wrong thing and i havent heard from them since. i am in the process of taking this information to the sheriff office and they are filing it with the proper athorities.

I just got a voice mail message from them today - sounding very professional and saying that they had reports of debt against my name and SSN (even though they didn't say what they thought it was) and were "obligated" by law to give me one more chance to call them and set up a restitution plan before it was too late. I have no idea what this could be about, since I only owe money on my house, but I called the long distance number anyway and the answering machine message sounded very un-professional. I left my phone number, name and the case number they left on my message - so this should be interesting.

Nicole - did you get any help from the sheriff's office? Any clue as to who I should notify about this?
