Guy with heavy accent (arab or Indian) asking if we have had our roof checked since the last hail storm.

Be careful of these people, they are usually NOT local and will rob your insurance money. NEVER-EVER let a company deal directly with your insurance comapny. Always make sure insurance checks come to YOU and not some roofing comapany that may or may not do a good, complete job on your home. And NEVER pay any condtruction up front!

I just got a call from this guy, also...said he had several appt. with my neighbors to check out roof damage...barely understood what he was saying.  SCAM   BEWARE

Just got a hang-up call from this number.

The caller ID says Unknown Name so I didn't answer.  No message left.  I have gotten a couple of other calls from roofing and siding companies recently even though my number is unlisted.
They are knocking on doors too after the recent hail storm in OKC.
Don't deal with anyone you didn't call yourself.

My caller ID reads Oklahoma City Oklahoma 1-405-212-4390.   They keep calling my unlisted # all the time.  When you call the # back, it is a recording that you can't really understand.  Also, I have recieved calls today 8-6-12 from all of these numbers (unavailable 1-360--474-3986) and Seattle1-206-496-0929 and Belle Glade Fl 1-561-692-4284. They think there pretty smart but only if they knew how close the Feds are on their [***]!

Get my name and number off of your list.  I don't answer calls without the name showing.

I got a call from this number and when I answered I ased who it was.. and he said I want to talk to Mrs. ____ .. I said who is this.. he said I want to talk to Mrs. ______ (louder voice).  I said who is this.. and in a even louder voice he yelled I SAID I WANTA TALK TO MRS ____  IS THAT YOU?  I hung up the phone.  I am on the no call list and he violated that and no one has a right to call my number and yell at me.  He had an india accent.

My caller ID said only "out of area" and it was a hang-up call.

I just got a call from this number.  Man with an accent.  He asked for my husband.  When I said he wasn't here, he hung up on me.

Second time they called! I told them before we were not interested...scammers!

I have recieved two such calls from this "company." the first time there was no messge this was on 9/17/12 on my cell phone then while i was at work on 11/14/12 just before my shift started.
There was some background noise i could not quite hear what was going on it sounded like a call center for a telemarketer or something it sounded busy and garbeled. I said hello twice and got a male either Indian or Hindu accent asking for what souned like a "chris ruzo" or something of that nature (he did not introduce himself nor his company just asked for a name.) I was standing in front of my boss and i asked the man twice who was he looking for he became bulligerant and screamed at me with some obsinities. I simply said wrong number and hung up.
I have put myself on the no call listing as well as my family's land line and still some of these scammers and morons still get through! We need to enforce these laws we created to stop them or toughen up the ones we have to protect ourselves.

Got a call from the same idiots today! Have been called twice. Liz and Tweets describe my first conversation very well so nothing to add. 2nd time, didn't answer.

Hey went over my cell and home phone. Over all total was 6 times! I don't know who these guys are and again i got another call on my cell while in the dentist office getting my teeth worked on! I mean for real. These guys just don't get it and it's border line on harrassment!

Called again today... I just don't know what to do now. Blocking isn't working and it's becoming a nusance. I 'm close to contacting our state attorney general's office and find out what i can do. I have asked not to be contacted but to no avail. It's getting worse.

Just called AGAIN today. Amazing how they are going to be in my neighborhood checking roofs (for free) about every 5-6 weeks.  Caller ID even reads 'unavailable', that's a red flag all by it's self.

I work for a roofing company.

When they found out that my number was not a residence, they abruptly hung up.

Yes, always be wary of those storm chasers not doing business in your state.
