If you are sued by Faust Corp or Stephen Bruce and associates, do not be afraid of them.  It is likely from a credit card you defaulted on.  So what.  Even if you legitimately owe it, there is an arbitration clause in the contract that makes this process for them VERY expensive.  File a Motion to Compel Arbitration and take them out of court.  It will cost you $125.00 to $500.00 but they have to reimburse you immediately for it per the contract.  

An Arbitration wave is hitting Stephen Bruce, Chase, Discover Bank etc.

At least they contacted you! After two years of wage garnishment, they ceased communications with my now husband. 5 years later, hello, suddenly we owe them 5 years worth of interest?

Folks, These guys are the lowest . Stephen Bruce & Associates works hand in hand with Faust Corp. That's because Stephen Bruces wife Terry Lynn Bruce is president of Faust Corp. What a scam. Aside from filing fraudulent paperwork with the court the very fact that Faust Corp buys up junk debt for pennies on the dollars and then turns around and sues in court  via Stephen Bruce& Associates for tens of thousands and thousands of dollars. How is that even ethical or more importantly how is that LEGAL. These miscreants need to be held accountable. File a complaint with the Attorney General and the federal  Consumer Financial Protection Bureau on line at http://www.consumerfinance.gov/
